Tatum is easily the most overrated player in the NBA. Definitely on RealGM. Ridiculous that it is mainstream common belief that he is better than Trae. He shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Trae. Trae is a much better player and has proven it every year he's been in the league except maybe his rookie year. For at least 3 years he has been a much better player than Tatum, yet Tatum is always ranked higher by media and fans.

I'm 51 years old and grew up in Deerfield Illinois where the Bulls used to practice. Jordan and Pippen lived about 2 miles from me. I used to deliver pizza to Will Perdue. Worked at a different place that Jordan ordered from, but was never lucky enough to get that ticket. I'm extremely lucky in that I got to experience MJ during a person's absolute peak age as a sports fan (age 14-28). We never love and are as obsessed with our teams as much as we are during that period of our lives and I got to be a diehard Bulls fan while that was going on. My craziest story from the dynasty. We won so much that me and my buddies had our own rioting route that we would walk every year after they won. Started on the north side of the city and walked to Rush Street. After the beat the Sonics for title #4 we were starting our route which always began with a stop on a busy intersection by my apartment where we would hold up signs and yell at all the passing cars for about 20 minutes. So we are doing this and a limo pulls up and stops across the street. Out of the limo steps Blues Traveler lead singer John Popper and the bass player Bobby Sheehan (RIP). They walk right up to us and ask us if we know where Dennis Rodman's post game party is. We didn't so they used the payphone we were standing next to (that's how long ago this was). Then we gave them each a beer which they gladly accepted. Then I pulled out and lit a joint and we passed that around. So, got to smoke a joint with Blues Traveler. Ended up hanging out with them on that corner shooting the shit and celebrating for about 15 minutes. A few years later that bass player died of a drug OD. I think I contributed.

so he consciously refused to support his star player from an attack from an opposing coach IN BETWEEN back to back games vs the Nets. And as a result his star player stopped getting calls for a pretty long time which of course greatly affected not just Trae but the entire team including the idiot coach. So you are basically saying that Lloyd Pierce is the single dumbest moron to ever coach a professional sports team. Let's his own personal bias get in the way of doing his job properly. As we all know it is coaching 101 to stick up for your player there. Doesn't matter if you agree with your player or not. You stick up for your guy no matter what. your comment actually makes Pierce sound even more incompetent at his job than we previously thought.

Riddle me this Lloyd. How do you put a positive spin on Pierce's refusal to publicly respond to Steve Nash's "that's not basketball" comments last year? We all saw what happened league wide to Trae after that. what possible "good motives" could Pierce have for leaving his star player out to dry like that while his college teammate dragged him through the mud? Remember when limousine liberal Rick Carlisle called out the Hawks for firing Pierce saying it was a disgrace to fire him after all he did for the democratic party in Georgia? The friggen Onion couldn't have written that better. And then Carlisle just got called out for ripping the Finch hiring in Minnesota. Is there a bigger hypocrite in sports than Carlisle when he took the job in Indianapolis rather than letting a minority have it?

Am I the only person in the world who has noticed over the past 2 years that Gallo can only score when he is being guarded by someone smaller than him? It is the surest bet in sports these days. If he is guarded by someone his size or taller he will miss the jump shot. If he is guarded by someone smaller he will make it. I feel like this is accurate 90% of the time. I scream at Gallo on the TV to get rid of the ball every time he has someone his size on him, yet he still continues to throw up bricks in those scenarios. Am I just smarter and more observant than the team of NBA coaches on the sidelines? Why isn't Gallo told specifically told to move the F-ing ball if he is guarded by someone his size? Why doesn't he realize that himself and give up the ball in those situations? On the flipside, when he has someone smaller on him he should have the green light 100% and be a top option. really frustrating watching the games and seeing this repeat itself game in game out when it seems crystal clear to me.

Kevin shot well, but I don’t think he played well. Haven’t looked at the box score yet, but I counted 5 turnovers in the first half off of a whole bunch of terrible passes. I’m a TLC hater, but only on the offensive end. He shoots way too much for a player of his standing. There’s a reason he’s open. Stop shooting unless it’s a wide open catch and shoot corner 3 at the end of the shot clock and I can live with him in the lineup.

When we signed him I was pissed off for two straight days. Every time the camera has shown him on the bench this year I’ve felt disgusted.
