Naw, we need a major upgrade at 2 guard. The two guys we have there now (bogi/Huerter) are terrible defenders and mediocre shooters at best. Can't have that combination next to Trae. Either put a lockdown defender there or put a lights out shooter there. I also think we overrated Collins significantly. He can't create his own offense and isn't a good shooter. I would be shopping a package of Collins/Bogi/1st hard. Or switch Bogi and Huerter, really doesn't matter since they both suck equally.

Being injured has no relation to Bogi not paying attention on defense on multiple possessions every game and not noticing when his man slips by him for back door cuts or rebound opportunities. Unless you are saying he is so injured he literally can't move a single step.

This is such a stupid ignorant comment. Hawks average the fewest turnovers of any team in the league. Trae has the ball in his hands significantly more than any other player on the team. Those two sentences are connected. Figure it out.

Huerter's main problem is he's not as good a shooter as he should be. Same problem for all of our guys. You see it all the time. we probably lead the league in missed wide open corner 3s. I've never seen a single opponent miss a wide open corner 3 against us, yet our guys don't even make 50% of them. Huerter, Collins, Bogi....none of those guys can hit wide open corner 3s at the rate the rest of the league does. And with Trae breaking down the D all game we probably lead the league in wide open corner 3 opportunities. We need to come to grips with the fact that our players don't shoot nearly as good as we thought they did.

My father, at 78, is probably the longest running Cardinals fan in the entire USA. You completely omitted the complete lack of defensive effort from Bogi/Huerter/Gallo. To me that is the biggest problem with the team.

Refusing to and can’t do it are two different things. Standing there daydreaming while your man goes back door on you for a layup is not a knee issue.

My favorite part of tonight’s game is going to be when the Knicks hit a bunch of wide open 3s and Bob says, “man, the Knicks are on fire from 3 tonight” with no mention of how that relates to our complete lack of defensive effort on the perimeter.

We lost this game for the same reason we lose most games, horrific no effort defense by Bogi, Huerter and Gallo. If even one of those players puts forth an honest pro’s effort we win this game comfortably.

And Nate needs to start benching guys when they show lack of effort or miss assignments. Start yanking them and embarrassing them. Stop treating them like professionals and start treating them like the children they are. Seriously, Gallo/Huerter/Bogi are the 3 worst players in the regular rotation. All 3 of them are lazy pieces of you know what. they are the 3 worst defensive players on the team. The only thing they have on Trae is height. and none of them have anywhere near Trae’s usage on the offensive end so they have no excuse for their piss poor lack of effort. I rewatched every basket against us tonight to see where the breakdown was. 90% of the time it was one of those 3. Bogi is far and away the biggest offender. He literally just stands there in the defensive zone and watches guys run by him. We have no defensive captain calling things out. Several baskets scored against because of errors made while switching. It’s f-ing pathetic! I am so sick of this garbage team and these 3 *****y players in the NBA. Please trade all 3 of these a-holes ASAP. I don’t care what we get for them, just get rid of them and bring in some guys who are gonna f-ing try on the defensive end.
