  1. Like I said Olympiacos has only played 4 friendly games so far. However the regular season does not start on Oct 20th, but on Oct 11th, Euroleague regular season starts on Oct 20th.
  2. Sorry but that article has to be at least half wrong. Olympiacos played 4 pre-season games so far. They won the first one 79-66 so how could Childress have missed the game winner??? He did have 19 points in that game and was the top scorer. The 2nd game they won 72-71 and as far as I can tell by the google translation Childress didn't play. The third game they lost 80-85, Childress had 9 points. In the fourth game they won 88-82 and Childress had 14 points (top scorer had 16). Seems to me that the article was written just to hate on Childress a little bit.
  3. Link What idiots. :laughing5: EDIT: Title should read "for smoking weed". :computer8:
  4. He played for Upim Bologna last season: 14.2 min, 5.5 pts, 4.6 reb, 57.7.% fg
  5. USA win the gold medal 118-107. Great game, Wade made all the difference. Spain showed that they can hang with the US (and with Calderon they would've won by 20 of course :snowballfight: ).
  6. 91-89 8 minutes to go, you people are missing a superb game. EDIT: 108-104 2 minutes to go. 3 by Wade, 111-104. :(
  7. 69-61 halftime lead for team USA. Since when can Wade hit threes? He's making nearly everything. Spain's PG problems today are showing, they made a couple of lazy turnovers when Navarro was taking over the point. Hopefully the game stays kinda close.
  8. Close high scoring game after the first quarter. I fear that Spain might outpace itself, I mean they're a deep team but the USA are deeper. Too bad Calderon is injured and Lopez is playing like s*** today, so it all depends on young Ricky Rubio. EDIT: And of course the refs still don't call travelling against the USA.
  9. USA win 101-81. The final on Sunday will be USA vs. Spain.
  10. Wow with an injured Nocioni and without Ginobili Argentina won the 2nd quarter 29-19. My prediction for the 2nd half: Bryant got owned 2 times so he's very angry and will most likely go into full chucking mode (he already has 11 shots) and either win or lose the game. EDIT: Seems like the refs want to take it into their hands now.
  11. Travelling called against Ginobili but not against Bryant & James, ok. Argentina tries too many threes for my taste. EDIT: Noooo first Nocioni is injured and now Ginobili might be injured. :(
  12. Yeah umm 66-43 now after 2-3 minutes. Bogut might be injured.
  13. 55-43 at halftime. Australia tried too many threes in the last minutes. Rebounds 30-14 for Team USA, ouch. USA still can't make a three they're 2-12 or 3-13 from behind the arc. I guess unless Australia can hit it's first 5 shots in the 2nd half the US will pull away rather fast. How is it possible that there are more travelling calls against Germany than against the US in this tourney?
  14. 21-21 right now, but that will certainly change now that I've turned on the game. :(
  15. 51-32 USA halftime. If Greece played the whole game as calm as in the 1st quarter they might've won, but in the 2nd quarter they made a lot of ridiculous turnovers and they're 0-7 from 3 point range :shock11: . They shouldn't use Baby Shaq, he has nearly no skill other than size and is a TO machine so far. Wade acts like an arrogant prick. I wonder why the refs hardly call any travelling against the US in this tournament. (It doesn't matter in these lopsided games, but if it ever gets close, then it would suck if they still don't call it)
  16. Lol Kidd has 3 fouls in 1:25, unfortunately this should make it tougher for Greece.
  17. I believe that was a dream (unless you consider 36.1-42.5% fg and 22.4-29.3% 3pt darn good shooting). ;)
  18. I was very impressed how easily Brock dominated the other guy, but I wonder if he just couldn't finish Herring off or if he wanted to show that he could dominate for 3 whole rounds. Anyway if he improves his submission defense he'll be tough to beat and is not all hype like Kimbo.
  19. You would've been a good Nazi.
  20. Maybe they think he had a down year, because he scored 15 the year before. Plus he joined the Bobcats midseason, so they might think that's the main reason he played so bad.
