The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Larry Wachowski, co-creator (with his brother Andy) of the "Matrix" trilogy, is preparing to undergo a sex change operation. Whoa. According to the paper, which cites "several longtime friends," Wachowski has been living and dressing as a woman for a while and is now ready to take the plunge. The filmmaker, 38, is currently in the midst of a messy divorce from Thea Bloom, who is demanding a share of his "Matrix" millions (he insists he came up with the concept before they wed in 1993). In divorce papers, she claimed "Larry has been extremely dishonest with me in our personal life" and said the decision to split was "based on very intimate circumstances concerning which I do not elaborate at this time for the reasons of his personal privacy." So far there's no word from Wachowski on the claims, which is hardly surprising given the fact the ultra-reclusive auteur is so media-shy he reportedly had a no-publicity clause added to his contract with Warner Bros. But if the report does turn out to be true, let's hope the fanatical "Matrix" fan base rallies behind Wachowski, who apparently realizes, to quote Morpheus, "there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path."

I saw some posters asking where Chris Tucker is. Chris Tucker made a bloody fortune, he put his own money into Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2. Not to mention he executive produced money talks, which was a much bigger success on DVD than it was in theatres. Rumor has it that he made at least 50 million from those movies. But I do for a fact know he has alot of investments, Real Estate, he even owned a comedy claub in the ATL next to Diddy's restaurant. As for his lifestyle I see him all the time in LA at the Comedy Store on Sunset, he has matured a lot from his jokes about robbing folks, now he tells jokes about meeting foriegn leaders and about his travels in Africa. He always seemed cool to me but I know a girl that tried to get with him says he is the most "concieded @ss on earth", but I question the source.

Starship Troopers could have been a GREAT movie, Mimic could have been a lot better and Biker Boyz was decent but not as good as it could have been.

After considering several offers, Harvard MBA Kwame Jackson said during a taping of CNN's "Larry King Live" this week that he's close to finalizing a deal to work with billionaire mogul Mark Cuban. I just found out that Pat Tillman died today. Which is sad for me because I knew him. I didn't know him well but he was a class act, he turned down a huge contract to do what he believed in. I have more respect for him than I ever have. RIP

Its your site, therefore you should have control over content. But the last time you did this the off topic became a buch of lame discussions about video games and wrestling. Although I have found Dolfan's tirades offensive at times I always found them interesting or at least good for a chuckle. I even enjoy my title of BigotHawkDown, so again its your site do as you please I dont have any complaints, but remeber when we shut up things we dont like the community becomes intellectually stagnate.

I dont think that it is Knight's fault. He put the worst team he could field out there and they just started winning to make their individual stock go up. The players just hate the franchise so much that they refused to lose. Stotts probably got them riled up to spite Knight for assembling them to lose. Knight lost on purpose, Babcock lost because he was a baffoon.

The Hawks needed dynamic new leaders not a bunch of old real estate developers that want to brag to to their buddies that they own a basketball team. We need the Trump model a man who wants big things. We need celebrity like what Bob Johnson brings. And the kind of pockets Cuban has. THE HAWKS ARE DOOMED. Billy Knight is our only hope.

First the Hawks win and now Kwame loses to Bill. This is a disgusting week for entertainment.

G##D###IT. This fanchise cant ever lose right. We assemble the worst team in franchise history and they start plaing like champs. Sura, a 10 year pussyballing vet, turns into Grant Hill. We are never good enough to make the playoffs or better yet field a sqaud that would be competitive in the playoffs yet we can never get a team to lose enough so we can draft high. What fundamentals do European players have? 7'0" shoot jump shots. No European player plays great Defense, look at Toni Kukoc, Dirk Novitzki, etc. other than Kirelenko and Gasol no European player is a standout on the defensive side of the ball. Than again all American players are "track stars". We all know what that really means The reason shooting, assist and everything else is down in the NBA is because every GM in the league built a team around defense to match up with the Pistons and then the Bulls. So the the days of the gunner died and every player in America at the college level started focusing on Defense compare the half court and transition defense of yesterday to today its obvious that D is up. But then again these are just the words of another "track star"

My little brother goes to school with that guy he is the most pampered, softest person I ever met. He is the child of priviledge. I think I could be wrong but the guy acts like Reef did back in High school I have a bad feeling about this guy. I usaully try to support African int'l players but this kid doesn't impress me.

The biggest problem I have with your lineup is that none of them play D except Diaw, Parker and Gasol and they only play average or slightly above average D. Yao is a heartless pansy just like reef. Only problem is Reef's talent compensates for his lack of passion. Yao depends on his size which he isnt that good at using it. 9rpg and less than 2bpg. I am not impressed @ his size his power #s should be better.
