i'd rather have chillz and donta on there instead of lue. chillz is nice off the bench, and donta is athletic and can play D.

great post showing the pros and cons. i'll add to it that AI gets alot of respect from the refs- something we desperately need (especially in close games). i may be partial cuz i've watched so many AI games here. he gives 110% every night. the whole "we talkin 'bout PRACTICE" and other incidents were blown up by the media. he's not THAT bad. we gotta go get him for the right price- maybe al/lue and/or 2nd rounder would do it. hopefully we could pick up jackie butler cheap in free agency too. this would be a fun team to watch.

looks like real gm made some typing errors. i had the same problem yesterday. i assume that's us taking marcus williams since portland takes LMA, and it's the 2006 draft. i think rondo will go higher than expected, but probably not at 9 or before mardy collins. rather than gibson in 2nd round i like us taking justin williams or eric hicks, especially if we get marcus as our #1. they both play intense D (we need); either one will be a steal. i don't think gibson is ready to contribute.

nash played as bad as i've ever seen him down the stretch. raja bell was clutch and he let the clips know (anyone read his lips?). cassell was big but tried to do it all; meanwhile brand was unstoppable but didn't get enough touches IMO. anyway it was worth it if u stayed up and watched it.

in college i like paul hewitt. i'm a tech fan and i like what he's done since cremins left. he's brought in some big time recruits in the last several years and is a great teacher. i hope he stays for a long time. i don't really have a favorite nba coach (besides WOODY of course). i like d'antoni's coaching style and i liked eric mussleman (former warriors coach).

spurs lose in OT at dallas. now they're down 3-1 and the crying is on the way. manu gifloppy fouled out. there were some bad calls but the spurs had their chances. i just HATE how the spurs act like they do no wrong. BUT the series is not over yet.

don't know if anyone mentioned him. he's 7'2" 260 lbs and could be a nice cheap pickup for us. he can block shots and rebound. his stats aren't exactly impressive, but the raps have bosh, bonner, sow and araujo, so his minutes have been limited. he made less than a mil this year.

i say it's philly. to have AI and C Webb on the same team and not even make the playoffs in the east is pretty bad. the role players (korver, iggy and salmons) didn't contribute enough when they were needed. dalembert definitely didn't earn his $.

yeah i'd rather give that money to jackie butler. he's only 21 and i doubt the knicks will re-sign him, unless they trade curry, frye or jerome james.

i don't think anyone will get cato for a mil. he made $8.64 mil this year. he'd be a nice addition but i think he'll get about 3 mil from someone. heck, john edwards made a mil this year; i just think cato has more value. gordon and salim are too similar. both CHUCKERS and both a liability on D. i don't want gordon.
