Here is an article from InsideHoops/EuroBasket stating he signed to stay in the Uraquayan league, despite having an offer from us. He is waiting on a better contract from somewhere else. Hopefully we can stop going overboard on this guy.

but a defender/rebounder that can backup zaza at center woulda been nice

i dont interpret that article as changing anything. he is going to play in uruguay pending his agent talking to teams in other countries. he has an offer from the hawks on the table. i will lay odds he will take it. golden state does not seem to be willing to offer. a team in europe would really have to sweeten the pot to tempt him away from the nba.
