Not the greatest player in the world, but a very solid point guard without an attitude problem, and we've shown that we can move fast in FA. YESSS!! f_town Posted July 3, 2006 Report Share Posted July 3, 2006 to avoid the negativity of the other Speedy threads, i will say that i think this is a decent pickup for the Hawks it really amazes me how ppl are like 'we paid 1 or 2 million a year too much for him' i'd really like to know how these 'experts' have determined the going rate for these players...its amazing really While i think it might be a stretch for him to be a premiere starting point guard in this league, i think its an ok choice overall the main thing is, WE FINALLY GET A VETERAN PG THAT CAN BOTH DEFEND AND RUN THE FLOOR!
