Rock Band Question

I have Rock Band for my PS2 but I wanted to buy another guitar controller for it. Does anyone know if the wireless controllers for Guitar Hero will work for it?

That didn't sound very reassuring chillz....lol. Seriously, I did some quick searching on the web yesterday for an answer but the best thing I could find was the controller that comes with GH3 would work on Rock Band but not the other way around? I doubt there is anything different on the GH3 controller than the ones you could buy in the store as a secondary guitar since you can use the same controller for GH1, GH2, or GH3.

guitar hero controllers are fully compatible with rock band. I can only speak for the 360, as it is all I have, but that's been their blanket statement since before Rock Band was released and I see no reason why it would be any different for the ps2.

Rock Band controllers will not work with Guitar Hero though.

Thanks. I hadn't read that anywhere before. I appreciate your info. I'm sure if it works on one system, it should be the same for the others.
