Drew Johnson (DC): In today's Insider you mentioned how Boris Diaw was given a 1st round promise by the Jazz two years ago. This year it seems they'll pass on him in favor of Aleksander Pavlovic. What happened in the least two years that maybe made the team sour on him?

Chad Ford: (1:49 PM ET ) Nothing really. Just depends on the type of player you need now. Pavlovic is more of a scorer and an outside shooter. Diaw is more of a point guard/small forward who likes to dish the ball, rebound and do the little things. I think Utah feels like they need a scorer with some pop form the outside. Pavlovic would be a good choice.
