Shareef, Theo, Hendu, and Crawford all come off the books. Right now, the only players under contract for 05-06 are Nazr, Diaw, and Dickau. Say we give JT $7 mil., pick up a #1 pick in next years draft, and sign some guys (Jackson, Armstrong, DJ) between now and then...we probably will have a cap number around $20 million, no higher than 25. We could make a big splash in the FA market. I made a list of all potential FAs that summer a while ago. I can post it again if you wish. But team wise I just can't see why anybody would want to play here.Have we ever even made a big splash in the FA market?Plus that's HOPING a player would sign here.Those players didn't sign for Chicago.It will be a huge problem. If we can't get them, we can more than likely resign Shareef (I know you'll love that one) or aim to fill our roster with a few mid-level guys. Here's the list, BTW. Not all these guys will be FAs.
