TheDude
this was off of sportingnews.com... -- The Grizzlies signed Rockets SF James Posey, a restricted free agent, to an offer sheet. Posey is a solid perimeter defender who can firm up an area in which Memphis was woeful last year—defense. The Grizzlies already have SFs Shane Battier and Mike Miller, along with four point guards and three shooting guards. The team badly needs a center, and the hope is that by stockpiling backcourt players and small forwards, they can wrest away a burly big man in a trade. . . . -- this really gives me some light of hope in maybe wrenching away battier and giving up nazr.. not sure of how that could happen but would love to do it.. not sure about posey's game and i'm not too keen on getting mike miller but i guess i could live with it..
