Premium Member mrhonline Posted August 1, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted August 1, 2003 If the salary cap is at 43.8, the only teams under the cap are: Washington - Already added Arenas. LA Clippers - Yeah, right. Miami - already added Wade (for much cheaper). Utah - FO says they're not interested in JT. Denver - already added Miller. There's no one left with cap space to make an offer to JT that actually wants him. So unless one of these teams trades cap space to a team looking to make an offer to JT, Atlanta is the only team that's gonna get JT. So, what do you offer him? I'm sticking with 6 years, $47.25M. You give him his 12.5% raises, but avoid that expensive 7th year. Thoughts?
