Chris Bosh On His Desire To Still Be "The Man"

I just saw a video on nba.com where Bosh is talking about how he doesn't want to be a piece of the puzzle. He wants to be "the man" and the centerpiece to a franchise. He specifically mentions that this is his role in Toronto and that has always been his dream.

So to recap:

You are currently the franchise player for the Raptors.

You are currently "the man" on that team.

That team is failing and so you want to get the heck out of dodge.

But you think another team should make you "the man" and that this will be the formula for a championship when you couldn't make the playoffs in Toronto? You aren't willing to be a piece on the team ala Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and KG who accepted limited spheres of responsibility on the Celtics and gave up being "the big man" across the board like they were for previous teams? Too good for that but not good enough to make the playoffs?

Hmmm...
