Who would you want to swap with ??

Years ago, before most of you were born, there was an

"Almost" trade in major league baseball that would have

surpassed all previous trades. That was when there were

eight teams in each league.

About 2/3 through the season, the two teams with the

worst record in each league had a very serious discussion

about swapping all their players, the entire teams.

You take all of our players and we will take all of your

players, 25 for 25. Since they were both in last place,

they wouldn't have anyone with a worse record to claim

any of the players. Something happened and it just

didn't work out, but it could have.

Now the question. If Hawks could swap all of our team

for all of another team in the NBA, who would you want

to swap with? You couldn't, of course swap for a much

greater team, the Lakers, for instance, because of their

record and potential being so much greater. They are

the champs. It would have to be some team with the

potential for next season to end up somewhere near

where Atlanta is expected to end up. Coaches and

front office people remain in place. Just the entire

roster of both teams swap places.

Well Milwaukee didn't make the playoffs....and Indiana was only 8th (both are, IMO, the most talent-laden teams in the EC; Indiana is solid at every position, top to bottom...I so glad my previous desire of Isiah as our coach didn't come true).

I would like to trade with the la clippers.

they are overloaded with talent.

IMO- they are the most talented team in the NBA. Only if they can find a SOLID BIG CENTER and have some team chemistry, they would be in the playoffs.

They are very capable of making the playoffs this year.
