Buzzard
Summer league means less than nothing. Remember, Acie and Shelden made the all-revue team a couple years back. As in all things your statement is not an absolute. Check out this list of players who averaged at least 17ppg in summer league 2009. There are quite a few here that I would not mind having. Anthony Randolph Anthony Morrow Marcus Thornton Andray Blatche Tyreke Evans Blake Griffin Jason Thompson Darren Collison DaJuan Summers Chase Budinger Stephen Curry JaVale McGee Ty Lawson Austin Daye DeMar DeRozan Rodrigue Beaubois Link: http://www.nba.com/summerleague2009/statistics/index.jsp?sortOrder=0 Edited July 24, 2010 by Buzzard

Buzzard
Buzzard- Gary Forbes also averaged 17.8 PPG. Nick Young was the 3rd leading scorer. That is my point. There is no absolute. Summer leagure is just like the draft. Hits and Misses; but it does mean something to the guys who can look at players and see something. I think Nick Young is a much better get than Mario, Collins, or Morris to take up my 13th spot on the bench btw. I liked last years scoring crop of rookies just as much as I like this years rebounding crop. Just my opinion though.
