(Photo by Grant Halverson/Getty Images) Browse more photos » More after the jump Help could be on the way for the Hawks depleted small forward position as Maurice Evans participated in the Hawks shootaround before Wednesday night's loss to the Bucks. He is scheduled to go through a full contact practice on Thursday. If the knee responds well then he will be cleared to play against Utah on Friday. "If he has no discomfort after practice tomorrow and there is no discomfort Friday morning, I believe they are going to give him the go-ahead to play," Hawks coach Larry Drew said Wednesday. Michael Cunningham also reports that Marvin Williams went through the shootaround but is not cleared to practice yet on Thursday. The Hawks are 1-3 without their starting and back up small forwards. Their absence has forced coach Drew to get creative by playing Joe Johnson or Josh Smith at the three position exclusively. "We've been piecing it together," Coach Drew said.
