JTB
We have been a terrible rebounding team for a long while! All through the Johnson era up until now. SMDH....it's really a damn shame how long this franchise has seem to just ignore this problem. But this season it looks worst than ever I mean horford has always been a 9.8 or 9.9 rebounder on this team but so far his numbers are extremely low from his average and he just looks uninterested in going hard after the boards in my opinion. Everybody is screaming TRADE!...but I'm going to be realistic unlike everybody else and tell you that it's hard to just go and trade either Sap or Horford for a rebounding BIG. Why? -For one sap's offense is looking superior to horford. When healthy Sap isn't the better overall player but regardless if health Sap has an upper hand on horford offensively and scores in a variety of ways where horford just doesn't have that in his game. Point is if we trade sap away offense will drop instantly!...that's a fact. -BUT it's hard to say lets just trade horford too. Well that's really tough if you know how good horford has been when healthy. One huge point is that he's obviously still injured cause when he's healthy he has always avg closed to 10 boards if not 10 a game plus his deadly mid range shot is something that fits buds system to perfection on the offense end though he doesn't score in a variety of ways. So yes We need rebounding but we can't trade away Sap at this point cause he's our offense and because horford isn't fully healthy yet so we are looking for the old horford to return. The BIG Q?: How long do we wait until making the trade for a rebounding BIG? cause the rebounding is so bad it could literally cause us to lose so many games we will easily be out playoff contention. Do we wait to see what happens with horfords health? It's all scary and almost seems like doom. What if horford never gets fully healthy again? What if waiting lowers horfords value if they clearly realize he's still injured? What if Saps value drop if horford gets back to his normal self? A lot of questions, all us fans know is that rebounding needs to be addressed more than ever before.
tbhawksfan
Why we should have tanked last season when our best player went down for the season
tbhawksfan
I would be more excited about a non winning team if it had some young lottery in it.
