BudCox: Don't let Melo get away without an offer from the Hawks

Throw an offer at the Knicks that they have to think about

 

- Bazemore

- Taurean Prince

- Splitter

- Cavs 2019 1st rd pick

 

As much as I hate to give up on Prince, I'd absolutely do it to bring in Carmelo.    With Baze playing a little better these days, dangle him + Taurean + Splitter ( to make the numbers work ), in order to get Melo.  If they want the Cavs 1st round pick, toss that in too.

The squad played a great team game last night, but that could've easily been a loss.  So we need a player who can possibly keep the offense flowing when guys are struggling to find their range.  And we need a legit closer at the end of games.

Take your shot at Melo, and do it NOW!!

There are only 2 teams Melo is interested in going to Cavs and Clippers.
