Blunt91
Forget all the hoopla about Howard for a while. Let's focus on picks that we know are definite. We have 3 second round picks in this draft and there are 2good Pointguards out there that can help this team. Chris Duhon out of Duke whom all you all are familiar with and whom I think JayWalker might have been hinting at to come work out next week for us but can't give a definite answer. The other player is Brazilian guard Marcelo Huertas who is compared to a poorman's version of Steve Nash. Duhon seems solid but it looks like his game won't grow no more than what it already is . Huertas has great court vision, is a good 3pointshooter and has verygood dribbling skills. The knock on Huertas is he doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard most NBA pointguards. The Hawks definitely need a pointgaurd in this draft the question is do we take Duhon whom we know will be a solid player or do we get Huertas who has more potential but instead of ending up like Steve Nash he could be another Dan Dickau who also had good passing skills and could shoot but couldn't defend. Whom would you like to see in a Hawks uniform??
jezmund
Duhon, unless Huertas does some great things to prove me wrong. We don't need Steve Nash- potential type PG's in the 2nd round. We need players that are coachable, have experience, leadership qualities, and can play some defense.
BOShforRoy
Steve nash can do all those things except for playing tough defence.
