Such great news! I’ve been talking about these players signing big extensions and seeing their trade market non existent because of their salary. So in a worst case scenario where we flame out, he also gives him a chance to go almost anywhere because of his contract. Smart move all around for DJM, he’s set financially and also for stability in his young career.

Awesome. DJM has been a great leader on this team and he put his money where his mouth is.

Our backcourt is set for years now and the trade for him makes more sense now

This is a celebration.  Huge win for the franchise.  Get rid of another $20M contract and bring in a $35-40M guy. 

A big 3 making $100M allows for depth on the roster.
