Eggsactly!  And the rest are all 'great, now they can trade him'.  Like, really?  Any other team and its all positive about a high level guy wanting to be a part of something.  For us, all negative. Smh

Spot on — A major future roster-building question has been answered.  Unless John Collins is being brought into this anticipated trade, aren’t we still expecting a rather significant TPE?  Very curious to hear what kind of names may be available just to absorb…

We still have the TPE as is, for now. We currently have a full roster and are $3 mil below the tax.

Honestly, I'd imagine it happened this offseason after seeing what some other players were getting. Based off this offseason I'd be surprised if he got the full $40M next year.
