notice chill, while having a bad game, was the team woke back up and put it into gear to hold onto their lead...doesn't show up in box score, but he's the type of player that will help us win games

notice ivey's steals and the comments about his defense...

and then of course, the ass coach said "if smith continues to work hard and listen..." which is a good sign, the fact that he listens and works hard...sorry bilas, but ur gonna be eating crow soon...

Guess, if we have an "Ass" coach, we must have a bunch

of "Donkeys" for a team! Ha! Ha!

Playing with only 8 able bodies, against a taller, more

experienced team, Hawks come away with another win.

Ah, the dreams from summer league. Good things are

happening with our "Baby Hawks."

Could we dare believe that some of this good vibes will

carry over to the fall, into pre-season action, then

still be there when we start playing for real?

These young guys will make up much of the strength of our

bench when the season opens. If we keep all four draft

picks, which we expect, that leaves 8 positions to fill

to make the 12 man roster. {I know, I know, the I.R.}

We don't have a lot of positions left to fill, despite

the fact that some of us expect the Hawks to add

"Several" players. Where would we put them? We would

have to loose some of the players we already have, either

by not signing those we already have tied up, or by

trading them away.

Hawks are closer to our final 12 than most of us think.

Another center -- Perhaps another guard - - That's about

all we have room for - - unless someone goes.

Great to win, summer league or anything. A win is a win

is a win is a win -- Go Hawks !!!!!!

A positive step. cool.gif
