I wonder how much it was for? I'm sorta hoping, guessing that it wasn't for the "max," more like 7 years, 75 million or something...we'll see, as it will come out within the next few days.

Good move by the Grizz, not letting the market set his price...as you know someone would have offered him the max next year...

According to the Memphis commercial appeal he got the the maximum - a six year 86 million dollar deal which interestingly makes him the second highest foreign paid player behind Dirk Nowitzki.

that can't be right. that's the 'max' for a player signing with new team to the max.

memphis has his bird rights, thus can sign him up to seven (not six) years with the 12.5, not 10% raises that memphis paper alludes to.

This is probably the guaranteed part of the deal with a player or team option for the seventh year.
