Josh will NEVER average 26 a game like Harden but what I think is saying is he feels he can take his game to another level in a new environment (aka somewhere outside Georgia) I'll be surprised if Smoove isn't traded at or before the dealdine.

He hasn't said anything negative about the Hawks since we "fired" Mike Woodson. Since Mike isn't hear anymore he doesn't talk trash about us.

Spurs getting Josh Smith would be HUGE move for them. Josh Smith being coached by Popovich, and taught by Duncan. SCARY! Popovich would turn Josh to Lebron light. Maybe be the guy for 2 or 3 years after Duncan retires. But I'm with Hotlanta81 tho. We gave the Sixers Deke and the went to the finals. We gave the Pistons Sheed and they WON the finals. If we give Spurs Smoove they are going back to the finals and probably winning it. They not giving us Leonard though.

Sometimes it's not about skillset. Did he have a better jumper than smoove? Yes. Did he have better handles than smoove? Yes. But Smoove has has something that marvin doesn't and that is IDONTGIVEAFUCKISH inside him. Basically Marvin was too "conservative".

I want to see Josh Smith on another team. Not because I dislike Josh. I'm a big fan. I want to see Josh in another uniform because I think it would benefit him. He would be GREAT on a western conference team. Don't know if The Suns are the team but hey. Gortat is not as good as smith especially since Steve Nash isn't their but I don't know If I would take on Beasley.

No one cares about the game itself but it's interesting to see who the coaches think consider "the best of the rest". People like Jameer Nelson, Josh Howard, Devin Harris, and Mo Williams got in but Josh Can't? Josh has been constant ever since his 3rd season. He done it for 7 strait seasons(including this year). Players put making an allstar game as a personal goal they want to achieve. Doesn't mean they put that over team success. It's just something they work hard to try to do.

Looks like the starting lineup in the east is gonna be Garnett, James, Melo, Wade and Rondo. Bosh and Pierce are locks. That's leave 5 spots. I believe Noah will get a spot. I believe Jrue Holiday will get a spot. That leaves 3 spots. Will Verejao and/or Irving get a spot despite the cavs being horrible? Deron Williams made it last year despite the Nets being horrific. Joe Johnson seems to get in off of reputation. What about Deng? Will Al Horford make it over Smith despite being the 2nd best player on this team? So many questions. Celtics will have 3 all stars and the Cavs may get one in. I hope smith makes it but I doubt he will. Hope I'm wrong.

He does sometimes but you can't keep leaving him out every single time. You know it and I know it. If he doesn't make it this year(assuming we keep playing well) then somethig is wrong.

As much as I am a fan of Josh he won't make it. Too many coaches(and fans) are stuck on his jumpshooting like he don't do A LOT more good than bad. They'll say "he shot a few bad jumpers in that game" so what?. They are too nit picky with him unlike other all stars. they still think Smith has a attitude problem like it's 2008. He'll go down as the best basketball player in histrory to not make an all star team.

Josh is not worth max dollars and he won't change. EVERYBODY knows that. However while he is cleary not a #1 option on a championship team he is better than a 4th option too. Josh smith now and for rest of his career is a 15-17 pts, 7 or 8 rebs, 3 assists and 2 blocks guy which is a 3rd options numbers. But these topics coming up EVERY 3 days has got to stop. Seriously.

JackB1 with a negative Josh Smith post/topic? That's new to me. As for Smoove as a hawks fans theirs some things you just have to deal with when it comes to certain players. Josh Shooting threes is one of them.

What's the damn issue? This is a good decision by the Hawks. I will say this though, It's kind of pathetic that we have to get T.I(or any popular artists) to perform at halftime to draw a big crowd.

Sportssouth did the right thing buy not putting this on TV.. Josh couldn't buy a basket. I know his detractors are happy but this by him and the entire Hawks was a HORRIBLE game. Good thing we got washington coming up.

Getting Al Jefferson would not hlp us much. Getting Andrew Bynum would be STUPID because he is always injured.

Hawks played ok but Jeff Teague and Devin Harris did nothing. I'll be shocked if Devin Harris is traded by the deadline.

I was the only on here who didn't overreact to Smoove's rough start to the season. If we can get HIM and Horford in the All-star game i will be super happy. I think it's about that time.

I think we are a 2nd round exit BUT I wouldn't count out making the ECF.
