I don't think he is getting traded at deadline IMO unless an offer comes that we can't refuse. I'm a hawks fan and a Josh Smith fan. If they do trade him I the Hawks get some real good value back. Also I hope smith plays for a good team where we can see his full potential whether it's Celtics, Lakers, Spurs etc. Having said that I don't think he will get traded until the offseason(unless the Hawks decide to build around him).

Take that statement away and agree with you. I think Josh enjoys being the man but he knows when Joe and Horford comes back the offense will go thru them and I think he desperately wants to show he can be "the man" so far when joe been out it hasn't been bad.

I agree with other posters about Marvin. Calling out Marvin or having a bad game is like playing basketball with a retarded kid and calling him for double dribbling. Just gotta let some stuff slide(I got that from Chris Rock). However as for Al Horford. He has a good personality but the main reason he don't get criticized by HS(or any hawks fan for that matter) is because he has a more "safe" game where josh smith has a more "wild" game. It's hard to criticize someone when they play a safe game. Plus people got this "Anything Josh Smith can do offensively, Al can do the same or better". Thats juts my opinion.

I'm iffy on this game. If the Pacers would of won yesterday then I will be a little more confident about tonights game but since they lost I got a feeling we may lose tonight. No Joe is 100% fine with me seeing as we have better ball movement without him IMO but no Stackhouse, No McGrady and No Willie isn't a good thing on the road.

We need a point guard that averages 20 points per game? Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Tony parker, Steve Nash, Jose Calderon doesn't average 20. Matter of fact no point guard outside of Russel Westbrook, Derrick Rose and Deron are the only 3 points gaurds averaging 20+ points(if you wanna consider Westbrook a PG). We need a PG that can get us 15 and 7+. Currently Jeff is giving us 14 and 4. He almost there. I agree with Hotlanta1981 in that Joe Johnson is slowly becoming a role player. Which is fine since Smith and Teague are coming into their own(they the ONLY 2 hawks that will get any better). Unfortunately you don't pay role players 120Mill. And Marvin Williams needs to go. He got to be the worst finisher around the basket in the NBA.

I know I'm early but if Smith can be somewhat consistant(not mind blowing) I can see him getting 22ppg next season...Whih I think he will. But yeah I think Joe knows in his heart that this team can't get any better if he is the #1.

He is right. He has all around game to not put him in the all star because on occasion shoots jumpshots is stupid. Paul Pierce was surprised he made it. Why was he surprised? You want him to be around elite players such as Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Rose etc. Being around them players can make Josh want to step his game up after being around elite players for 3 days.
