  4. I like red...We need more red for sure...I like the early 00s jerseys...
  5. We better resign Zaza...The man is a workhorse off the bench...Resign him and add a 7ft to the team...I was hoping Solo would work out but oh well..
  6. Ok...Childress isn't doing anything at all for us so thats better then nothing. Morris counts for nothing...The 1st Round pick is the only sore spot in the trade...We need a 7ft bad! The man puts up double digits at the C position... Bibby Joe Smith Horford Camby Marv Crawford Flip Zaza Teague Championship Ready!

  10. I like the lineup but I don't think it will happen...No way we can get Bibby and Flip to go along with Crawford...If we do thats great but I doubt it...Plus it either Zaza or Solo or Morris...
  11. I would love to get Bibby back for 3 yr 15 mill but no more...Pass on Miller, we don't need him...Where are we playing Crawford though if we get Bibby back?? Bibby = 14 ppg Joe = 20 ppg Marv = 14 ppg Smith = 15 ppg Horford = 11 ppg *Crawford = 19 ppg
  12. Josh Smith FG% 3P% FT% RPG AST STL BLK TO PTS 2004-2005: 46% 17% 69% 6.2 1.7 0.8 1.9 1.8 9.7 2005-2006: 43% 31% 72% 6.6 2.4 0.8 2.6 2.0 11.3 2006-2007: 44% 25% 69% 8.6 3.3 1.4 2.9 3.2 16.4 2007-2008: 46% 25% 71% 8.2 3.4 1.5 2.8 3.0 17.2 2008-2009: 49% 30% 59% 7.2 2.4 1.4 1.6 2.3 15.6 So lets see here. Six key categories have decreased in the past year; points, blocks, steals, assists, rebounds, and free throw percentage. That cannot happen from a “top” player on our team. Nearly a two point drop off in points! One whole rebound less per game. Blocks, what he is known for, dropping way off. In fact, blocks and rebounds have tallied off the last two years. Two huge categories for a “super” athletic player. Now yes, he does impose some kind of fear in most players he is guarding but not as much as you would probably think. Ever noticed that most of his blocks come from help side? Ever notice how he gives up on a player who is taking a jump shot when he figures he is too far way.(At least put a hand up and box out!) And I can’t stand it when he complains after missing a lay up and saying he got fouled while the other team takes off down the court. Hey Josh, your not an All-Star, not even close, your not going to get every call you want bud! I know it looks like I hate Josh but I truly don’t. I like watching him when he contributes with strong post moves, good man to man defense, and when he gets that urge to go cross court to block a shot. But to me the negatives out way the positive, especially for a guy many want to become the face of the Hawks. His frequent feuds with Woodson, stupid shots he constantly takes, and his babyish actions when things don’t go his way. I say give him one more year. If he can’t pick these numbers up in a big way and clean up his act then he is out! I’m talking 18PPG, 9RPG, 2.5BPG, Keep the Turnovers down, and stay level headed. PLAYOFF AVERAGES: 16.6PPG 7.1RPG 2.4APG 15% From behind the arc! We desperately need a big man. Trade Josh Smith, Rights to Josh Childress, and Speedy Claxton for Amare Stoudemire? You then resign: Marvin Williams, Zaza Pachulia, and Flip Murray and a couple draft picks and possibly Bibby if for cheap and were set to make a serious playoff run! Imagine this: PG: Ty Lawson , Acie Law (If you give Acie the confidence to run the show? (10ppg, 5pag?) SG: Joe Johnson, Flip Murray SF: Marvin Williams, Mo Evans PF: Al Horford, Solomon Jones/Draft Pick C: Amare Stoudemire, Zaza Pachulia
  13. I would rather this team be built around Joe Johnson than Josh Smith. Joe Johnson is a stub. Yes, he was off in the playoffs but I truly blame that on double teams because nobody else is a true threat! Josh Smith should play at the SF position and spend the entire offseason on driving to the lane, not taking as many jumpers, and playing better defence. He has to step up the d, he is lazy! If seen him just let people drive by, not step in the lane to contest a dunk, and he watches men shoot a jumper. These is what needs to be done for this team to join the elite in the NBA: First Option 1. Keep the coaching staff intact! I hat hearing people bash Woodson for his offense. You move a couple people over and add a good big man and the offense changes! 2. Let Mike Bibby walk and sign Carlos Boozer. 3. Sign and trade Marvin Williams and add Josh Childress and Speedy in to get a sold back up big man or a solid draft pick. 4. Draft a Point Guard. 5. Sign Flip Murray, Zaza Pachulia. Let Mario go. We can get a better offensive player who can play d. 6. Sign Chris Anderson. PG - Acie Law/ Flip Murray/ Draft Pick - Acie could be good with confidence. Can run with Smith and can drive like the best. SG - Joe Johnson - Double teams would be called off and he could be the confortable Joe and not be the only one to rely on. SF - Josh Smith - Would match up better on defense and could take his opponent to the hole. PF - Al Horford - Would average another 2 rebounds per game at this position and another 2 to 4 ppg as well. C - Carlos Boozer - Would help elevate the pressure on Joe. Would be that one more good player we need. - Flip Murray - Instant offensive production off the bench. - Mo Evans - Brind in for Joe or Josh to play solid D. - Chris Anderson - Would be that scrappy aggresive compliment to Smith. - Zaza Pachulia - Love his heart. - Vladimir Radmanovic - Nice Shooting Big Man that can score. Second Option 1. Keep coaching staff. 2. Let Mike Bibby walk and sign Allen Iverson 3. Sign and trade Marvin Williams and add Josh Childress and Speedy for Marcus Camby and draft pick. 4. Draft Point Guard 5. Sign Flip Murray, Zaza Pachulia. Let Mario Go. 6. Sign Chris Anderson PG - Allen Iverson - Would help elevate the pressure on Joe. Would be that one more good player we need. C - Marcus Camby - Nice tough big man that crashs hard and swats shots!
