PP on JJ = foul trouble....they will double. We have to hit shots, more importantly JJ has to pass well out of double teams. One thing I don't understand is why Doc does not post PP on Marvin.

There should be no post ups for ZZ; no plays run for ZZ. If he would focus on rebounding and defense he could help this team a lot. Sometimes he thinks he is Arvydis Sabonis out there and it gets him in trouble. IF he would serve in a role like Jeff Foster that would be great. Know your role Z!!!!!

Sure...until he throws a lazy one hand pass into the stands....and then carrys the ball on the next posession. Changing his game will not happen over night, there will be growing pains; and he would probably be benched at some point during a season under a Fratello - Brown type. Ultimately, if we are able to get a good coach that Josh respects, he could become a very very good player.

I actually think that if we go with a vet coach like Fratello or Brown, they would have more of a problem with Smoove.

That type of coaching should have been done in training camp. The fact is, that has been a problem all year and was never corrected.

" I told you this would be the guy (Law) to beat us off the dribble." Doc knew it.......Woody seems to the last to know it. I think he was talking about Smoove. Fratello would be good for this team.

I didn't think we would beat them, but I thought we could at least run a set play or two. LOL

He said that we have had trouble getting into our sets, so that is why Acie is playing. But Acie could not get ff the bench to end the season. How can anybody defend this clown.

The reason they are not boxing out tonight....is because they have not boxed out all year!!!!!! And that is coaching. This team was not properly coached all year and have developed a lot of bad habits; when things get tough you do what is comfortable to you and in this case most of that is bad basketball.

We are easily the worst coached team in the league. Players are not put in positions to be successful. Before we criticize and trade away this roster; we better get a real coach in here quick...or this franchise will make some huge mistakes.

Well, Marvin shoots a bunch of jump shots too.....Smoove shoots more than he should.

JJ will get plenty looks, all we have to do is move the ball. Boston is a good defensive team but no team can rotate consistently against great ball movement. The key for JJ is to let the game come to him and not dribble too much, when he dribbles too much, he is easier for Boston to defend. We have to get him off of screens and in pick and rolls, and most of all, we need some penetration from Bibby and Salim.

Yep, it is easy to be in the top 15 in blocks and steals while being a 6'9 forward on a bad defensive team.....he is just ordinary....I prolly could do that too.

It is the "I got this young team into the playoffs mentality. See, if he convinces everybody that the team is too young and not ready to compete at this level...then it looks as though he has overachieved as a coach.
