Would it not have put us in position to offer him the biggest contract ? I mean even if he walked..we would have bird rights or whatever right ?
-
We have a personnel issue. No real defensive anchor either in the paint.

They were real hard on the guy like it was a terrible trade. To the point where I think I actually said something about that because some of them made all us Hawks fans seem like arrogant jerks. and that would’ve been a steal for a guy like Beal.
-
Yeah that’s right. I remember now it was about his contract length with you at least.
-
Remember when that guy proposed trading Huerter and a pick for Bradley Beal at RealGM and y’all flamed his ass like it was a bad trade....Welp....
-
Definitely did that in my Ryan Cameron voice.

Merry Chrimuh!

Hard to even argue against it at this point...VC should’ve never been in that game with time ticking down. 6’ Trae should not have been inbounding.

Talking out your tail end is why you get dismissed sometimes as a troll around here. Carmelo could win and has been to WCF with a team centered around him. Don’t fault him for not being able to get past the mid-2000 Lakers. Scoring the basketball is still the main objective of the sport. Its this same broken logic that would devalue the John Stocktons, Karl Malones, and Patrick Ewings of the world. It’s very easily debunked when you THINK about it. You can build a team around Trae. Trae does have areas where he needs to improve. But that narrative you’re trying to push is bogus AF.

If “help” don’t come soon like Shams reported, then he loses all credibility moving forward.

Damn we could use CP3 too low key but he’d probably retire before he came here In fact, adding CP3 and Steve Adams would give us the productive veteran LEADERS we desperately need. Then adding John Collins back to the mix and Crabbe actually returns to being a good floor spacer and we have a Top 5-6 (In the East) type of team.

He is playing better to be fair. Cam gets in his head more than most according to everything I’ve read on him. I don’t want him to get too down on himself...

Kevin Huerter, our other 1st, and whatever else it would take as filler.
-
You don’t think he would benefit from being able to get up 30 shots a game ? To gain a little confidence? To see more shots go in ? He’s got to to be on an emotional see saw right now where he has 1 good game followed by 4 or 5 where he’s probably beating himself up for not playing well.

Outside of maybe 2 games or so..Dude has shot under 40% for the last month while getting big minutes. He makes careless mistakes and turnovers. It’s not about the G league being anything magical. Dude just isn’t a NBA caliber player right now. His only valuable NBA skill is defense. What the hell are y’all watching ? Hes shooting 33% for the season and y’all wonder why I think he needs to go to the G league and beat up on lesser competition

Because he is absolutely terrible off the ball DUH!!!! and it’s not a disrespectful joke bruh. Go get yourself a god damn snicker. I feel Cams development would go smoother if we let him refine the areas of the game where he has been the most comfortable and that’s as the primary ball handler. Ive been saying the same thing over and over since we drafted him...

Let me clarify. He needs big minutes as the primary guy.

I still think he needs BIG minutes that he could get at CP. He just needs to be constantly playing 30 minutes somewhere. I’m glad that Bruno is getting minutes now..

Kevin looked like ass vs Utah too. I haven’t been saying much about it before tonight because I understand he still has to get back into rhythm AND is young, but good god..

Kevin Huerter is starting to drift down from great role player potential to the B word. A shooter that isn’t hitting shots isn’t all that valuable.

Trae is outrageous at times. He’s small but what he does and how he does it is unbelievably hard to stop.
