  1. The key to small ball lines up is making the opponent feel that it’s a small ball lineup they’re going up against and we didn’t do that if that unit isn’t making shots while playing at an extremely fast pace then yeah we will have games like this also pistons bench is 3rd in scoring and it showed tonight . That’s something we really have to continue to upgrade as well or we are going no where
  2. Yup we do need size still folks but it’s all about strategy too! we most definitely need a big body to throw at wood and Drummond type but the biggest body we have in Len is out tonight . I really would have liked to see how len would do vs a guy like Drummond. .....anyways I’m still ok with small ball starting unit of Trae, Huerter, Cam, Hunter, Collins but you HAVE to make shots if you’re going to roll with a small ball starting unit vs a traditional starting 5 with a center as big as Drummond . And with the small ball unit at times throughout the game you have to throw in your big body guy when need be a well with the starters ....but again we didn’t have one available this game. on another note its painfully obvious that Schlenk need to continue to build this bench which I understand he’s doing but really I can’t wait ! You can watch Teague and tell he’s been around a while now with his feel for the game and calmness. Once Teague learns the players around him he will be able to help them. Jabari probably would help Teague tremendously if he were playing
  3. Ehhhh I don’t know...the way we’re playing vs them right now he wouldn’t choose Atlanta in the off season .
  4. Yeah the effort just isn’t there . They need to focus on their conditioning to better in back to backs over the off season.

Right....I’m not sure who it it is
  6. That’s a very nice win! Trae was Trae....his usual offensive elite ness showed but I hope he take a step back on threading the needle on those daggers in the paint. Pop had his guys ready and expecting those passes. cam reddish gave us a glimpse of what will be the norm for him in his future! Absolutely fantastic on offense AND defense tonight!...no seriously did you see it?! Whenever cam was on Derozan he was bothered. cam defense was just flat out awesome vs Derozan! Seriously it was that damn good. hunter had some nice strong takes to the goal ....really liked that and the nice swing to red velvet for the game winner huerter had a good game overall. He will have nights where he’s not as efficient from the field but shooters shoot and he was ready for the moment to give our hawks the win. Collins battled all night while getting elbowed and fouled by LaMarcus. Only thing I will say is JC got to stop committing the silly fouls early on!...tired of seeing him with 5 fouls and LP having to take him out with 4 minutes left in game. VC had his flashback moments of vinsanity ....great to see that from the OG. when Teague is running the second unit and we have Parker & Len back in rotation for the second unit, this team is going to be waaaayyyy better. Our young starting core is nice . We do still need a big body center who can rebound and defend the rim at times throughout the game for sure but our small ball lineup is hard to contain for defenses and I believe it may remain as the starting lineup regardless of trades or upcoming free agency. These guys (trae, huerter, cam, hunter, JC) just FIT to T when they are on the court together and maybe...MAYBE .....we are only in need of a big body on the floor running with the starters during certain matchups aka warriors style. MAYBE
  7. Those Teague time moments off the bench is going to be nice ! as far this game goes I really liked the defense I saw from our young core starting unit

Yeah unfortunately for him cause talent wise as far as scoring he is very good but absolutely not a team player whatsoever

    Ok I didn’t think so .
  10. To me Adams is a underrated passer. Not saying he phenomenal at it but he’s pretty damn good at making good reads. the only box Adams don’t check is really shooting. Everything else he does pretty well

I’ve heard devin booker name come up in trades like he’s available. First it was Stephen A Smith then I heard it a few times on nba radio... is booker available?

Boy kyrie is a horrible horrible leader....never call out a list of teammates and purposely not include all the starters. Anyways with that said...what’s the interest in Joe Harris this summer ? ....I know he’s a bit older at 28 but harris is absolutely lights out beyond the arc!

I’m all for Adams here! That would be great ....I didn’t really care who we got between him and Drummond, just get one of em.
  14. Sounds like the door is closed on Drummond. I seriously doubt they get a better offer than what Schlenk offered.
  15. My bad I was lost on your statement thanks for clearing that up
  16. Gores and Schlenk are discussing a new deal centered around Drummond?
  17. Yup I just saw the report from him ...I am shocked Detroit didn’t take it. I bet they come back around once the deadline gets closer.
  18. Actually I do recall seeing a 1st was offered from us but the two reports I saw didn’t say what 1st it was
  19. Really! And they didn’t take that ! please tell us the reason I’m very interested to know why they didn’t take that ?
  20. I’m holding out hope that we my get back in the race to trade for him after they strike out with everyone else
  21. Wow yeah if the Knicks aren’t interested that’s a bad sign for Detroit! drummond may not be moved . It’s getting more difficult. I bet Schlenks offer was the best one on the table .
  22. Hmmmm well I guess some of you are right and perhaps Schlenk does see Drummond as a fit.... I don’t understand it based on what the center position does offensively In LP scheme. All those guys have drifted out to the 3pt line somewhat throughout the season. unless maybe it was discussed internally between Schlenk and LP to adjust the scheme a bit of IF a guy like Drummond is traded for. I may be back on the Drummond band wagon but I need to see it he gets traded by deadline. I’m still in belief that whatever team trades for him will likely keep him but If the hawks are planning to make a run at Drummond this summer I would bet that offer per season is no higher than 23 mil per

I was thinking Beal but since he can’t be moved right now...yeah it’s Derozan makes sense now ....forgot about him
