  1. The grammar from the article is very poor. Which makes me wonder how credible the source is. I would love Noah though. He's a beast in the paint and can rebound like a machine. Noah is signed through 2015/2016. Joakim Noah $12,100,000 $13,150,000 $14,200,000
  2. This is exactly what I expect once the Hawks signed Teague. He was never consistent and seemed like the type of player that once he got his payday would not push himself.
  3. Teague is a joke. Awful game. Even Steve Holman was overstating how poorly Teague played. You know Steve always calls an honest and great game. Teague is forcing pacing and taking bad shots. He has no defense and is just not the same product he was earlier I. The year or in the bulls playoff series. It really is a shame. I wanted Teague to excel. Just don't think he will ever be a consistent PG.
  4. Lou is still bothered from his injury. He came back early and has not been playing well. He is not explosive and is missing shots. Yet, if he is passing better and making better plays then you go with him. It doesn't matter if he is SG, you play who's hot and who is making the better decisions. Teague looks lost in this system. He hasn't been able to get that lob shot down for years. He's pressing the ball up the court in efforts to get some quick points. However he is not converting.
  5. Another awful performance by Teague last night. Horrible shooting from the field and no play making. Lou had a strong game. Wonder if Bud would consider starting lou at PG. He is actually making plays and has better court vision than Teague. What's the status of Teague eligibility for a trade? I thought I read somewhere that the Hawks cannot trade him because they matched his contract this off season. Is that true?
  6. I'll take what Amico says as a grain of salt.
  7. This is funny; CENTER: Andrew Bynum, Marcus Camby, Jason Collins (former Hawk), Lou Amundson, Solomon Jones (former Hawk), DeSagana Diop, Kwame Brown (former Hawk), Hilton Armstrong (former Hawk), Fab Melo, Joel Pryzbilla, Melvin Ely, Dexter Pittman
  8. Thought the Hawks did apply for DPE on Horford? I will be very mad if a good move, not signing some BS D League player, isnt made after cutting C Mart. I thought he did well and didn't get a fair chance.
  9. Haha just posted this. i also want Noah. He is such a good fit for this Hawks system. High BBIQ and a fierce competitor. Even Gibson would be awesome. Even though he wouldn't do much since he is just another undersized PF.
  10. Wonder if they would consider dealing Noah...He is so much fun to watch and would be awesome to have him an Al on the same team. I know wet-dream...
  11. I'm not too happy about this. DF better have something up his sleeve. With the way this team has been performing offensively Martin deserved some playing time. He shot 40% from the field and 3pt range. Not a good move.
  12. Give DF at least one more off-season. Everyone wanted Dwight and CP3 this year. Once Doc went to LAL the wet dream became impossible.
  13. I agree. Even with Horf it would have been tough to compete. We got lucky to even win a game vs. INDY last year. Its clear this team needs a big, short-term and long-term.
  14. Too early to give up on Shrod and Jenkins. Considering Jenkins is hurt this year. Plus I can't say there was one player drafted after Jenkins who has put up better numbers. Other than our own, Mike Scott.
  15. I do agree there. I was not impressed with the PF/C signings. I was very mad when they lost Zaza go. I definitely thought he would have stayed since he loved ATL. Also Dalemberet was available. Even though he is a sleepy head... Hansborough was on my radar, young and plays aggressive. Seemed like he would fit the system well.
  16. You don't need to take away stats. You just need to consider, that if a player plays an extra period (quarter) then his stats should increase. Obviously loosing a big man impacted him. His assists should lower. Not turnovers increase.
  17. You are over-exaggerating your stats. They are not reliable. First off, you are including the CLE game, which Al played most of the game. Secondly, since you are including CLE, 2 of the games went into OT ( 2OT CLE and CHA). So Teague should have more assists when he plays more minutes. Nonetheless, Teague is averaging 4.14 turnovers during those 7 games. So I dont see how a 1.75 assist to turnover ratio is good. In fact it is awful. To continue the comparison to other PGs around the league, Teague has one of the worst AST/TO ratios this year. This guy does not fit the system. There is nothing more to say.
  18. His contract was huge. Unlike other who say signing him as a bargain I was upset. I would have been happy letting him to go MIL and signing a veteran until we found a true PG. He is so inconsistent. He's not the type of player you want to build around. The only reason he gets recognized now is b/c Al is out. He has awful court vision. It is sad when he doesn't make passes that wow you at least once a week. The only PG who can get away with the assist/turnover ratio is Steph Curry. Time to start Mack and see if Dennis has learned anything from sitting on the bench for the past month. If anything, the past week has shown Teague is not a true PG and doesn't belong in this system. His defense is awful. Shaun Livingston ran all over him yesterday.
  19. Huge Hawks fan, have been through the 90s and will continue to support this team. However, losing Horford clearly shows he was our best player. This team has no offense and cannot rebound. The Hawks either need to acquire a big man by trading some picks or tank. I don't see any reason to be a middle of the pact team again. As soon as we get into the playoffs we would be crushed without a big man.
  20. Said it before and I will say this until he is steps up. Jeff Teague is not the PG for this system. He doesn't have the high BBIQ and forces too many turnovers without getting assists. Last night Teague had 5 assists and 7 turnovers. Against CHI 6 assists and 4 turnovers, GS 7 assists and 5 turnovers. If the Hawks are looking to trade anyone it should be Jeffrey. We cannot afford to have out PG average 6 assists and 4 turnovers a game.
  21. Agree. Such BS. Milsap had given up at the end of the night. Same thing happened against CHI.
  22. I like Lou but have to agree. He looks lost. He missed too many wide open shots last night. 1-4 from 3PT range...
