He was only effective in pre-season bc other teams lacked size. He has a good shot and should see more minutes against smaller teams. Not sure about that. Carrol is doing exactly what he's supposed to. Hustle and get loose balls. His defense is solid. As others have said his intensity is something that has been missing on this team for a few years. He's the Metta world peace for the hawks. Every teams needs that hustle.

Last nights game was pretty exciting. Was a great game until the 4th with 5 minutes remaining. If the game proved anything, it is that Milsap and Horford are not powerful enough offensively or defensively. The Hawks lacked a low-post game and were out rebounded 42 to 33. If Ferry is serious about making this team legit this year, then he needs to get Asik or another big man. Milsap could potentially play SF or he would excel as a 6th man coming off the bench. What do y'all think?

Teague will be traded. He is trash. Was pretty upset htey gave him that monster contract. Jennings > Teague any day. Teague doesn't play hard and doesn't lead. He goes through the motions and waits for things to occur around him. Watch out as he will probably average 3-4 TOs a game. He's not a good enough PG for a SA Spurs like system.

It's very difficult to observe the games especially when they are not being broadcasted (lame Hawks). From the stat-line perspective, which I shun when I actually watch games, JJ did not contribute. His defense was also weak.

Might as well vote Jenkins, Schröder, Brand....you only have 2 captains for a reasons. Too many captains creates the idea that the position is not valuable. Especially when 33% of your team are captains.

Teague is a child and not a leader. Until he demonstrates that he can carry this team like he did vs. CHI in the playoffs he doesn't deserve a C. My bet is on Horford and Korver. Both work hard and lead by example. Horford deserves it since he has been with the Hawks for a bit and Korver is a savy veteran.

I think Asik will be in a Hawks uniform in early November. He will be mad about the lack of minutes behind Howard. Hawks have lots of pieces to offer including draft picks.
