Jeff Teague is stiring the pot because he wants to get his name out there. As "poor" as DF has treated Teague, this is a buisness. DF offered Teague what he thought he was worth. Teague needs to accept that and move on if he is unhappy with the offer. Instead, Teague is pouting that he got a low ball offer.

Time to move forward. Teague wasn't going the plan for pg of the future. He wanted multi years. DF didn't want to commit. Plain and simple.

I don't always believe in advanced stats. His game has slowed down. That's why he isn't playing 30+ minutes anymore. Saw him several times. He is a good shooter. However, I don't think he can play 30+. Why would the Hawks sign him to come off the bench?

Disagree. If the Hawks are tanking, why would they invest $9 in Milsap and $6 in Korver. Moves like that don't make sense. They are missing out on FA's left and right. Now that Bynum is gone, the Hawks have to go after Niko. Dalembaret would be a joke to have as a starting center.

Just get this deal done with incentives. If the Hawks can get Bynum that improve their chances to link another good free agent next year. If not, we will be in the same position we are. The Hawks need to improve this roster otherwise they will be a first-round playoff team. Peachtree Hoops just announved that Petro and Jones have been renounced. That could be big news in terms of signing a FA. Whether it is Ellis or Bynum.

When healthy, Bynum was the best or second center in the league.

Everyone wants results NOW. That's the type of society we are in. Take time and get things done the right way. Whether he starts at SF or PF or comes off the bench this is a good addition.

Lets see what else DF has up his sleeve before we discount this signing.

I'm not a fan of Monta either. Would be absolutely shocked if the Hawks signed him. He is a poor characted player.

Agree. Plus probably less money for both. However, Teague is probably looking for 4-5 year deal. I'm not sure DF wants to commit. Teague is not the long-term solution at PG. DF probably wants someone else. However, Teague would be a great back up. Wait for the price to drop and make a move.

Rumors are rumors. I'm sure there will be a move in the next 24-28 hours now that Josh is gone. Ferry was most likely trying to SnT Josh.

Regardless if he stays or not, he is 2-3 years from being ready. He needs to bulk up. I'm not sure he can come over here and just put up Joakim Noah rookie year numbers.

I also want to sign Pek. Could be a good fit. He plays hard and has high BBIQ.
