Clearly Murray is a good player. There are very few high level players available on the market. If we settle for a ho-hum deal then all hope is lost. Landry and Kyle need to realize this is an inflection point and their career is on the line. Would Danny Ainge or Sam Presti accept a mediocre deal right now? They sure as hell wouldn't.

With SA in control of our picks for the next few years, there is just no upside to a full fledged rebuild.

How can you say that if you don't know the protections on the picks? If those picks are lottery protected, than that is a world of difference then ours, which have no protections.

Why not just wait until a trade occurs and then weigh in on it? These things are extremely fluid, how do you expect "insiders" to know every detail of every potential trade?

We literally can't rebuild. SAS has our '25, '26 swap, and '27. What are we going to rebuild with? We are in deep trouble. The fact we have no protections on those picks is just crazy. We could be entering a very dark period for this franchise.

With how bad we suck, those unprotected picks we gave them are more valuable than ever. Rest assured, they are keeping those. Nobody trades unprotected picks, much less two of them. We are just screwed.

Defense and length is not that easy to find. Also defense and length has to be able to play offense too.

Several teams are supposedly making offers. We certainly don't have to take the lakers deal if it's not to our liking. Unless it's a deal that clearly makes us better in the near future, I would decline.

JJ materially impacts the game. We have had so few impact players, guys that actually make a clear difference on the court that's readily apparent. It's very refreshing.

He's averaging 20/5/5 on solid efficiency, and on a reasonable deal. I'm not sure why there is a push to move him. We're having a tough season, it happens. No need to throw the baby out with the bath water though.

We can go with the Larry Brown/Iverson model. Just let Trae have total control of the offense and surround him with role playing defensive minded bigs and wings.

Murray is a pretty good player, and he's on a reasonable deal. Unless the trade in a clear win, I would strongly consider keeping him.
