  1. We have the fewest passes in NBA history. But, we are 3rd in the league in turnovers per game, and 14th in Assists per game. Of all the teams above us in assists per game, we have the fewest turnovers per game by almost 1 full turnover per game before the team after us. We are 2nd in Assist to turnover ratio, 2nd in turnover percentage, and 6th in Pace. We do not pass a lot, but we make the most of our ball movement with both scoring and reducing turnovers.
  2. Trae’s scoring efficiency has been trash… but he also just had the most efficient season of his career last season. I don’t think he will continue to shoot so poorly as he, Murray, and the rest of the new rotation continue to gel together. A lot of his offense is forced right now. This will subside eventually.
  3. We played like straight booty that half and honestly held it together. As usual, teams are red-hot from 3 against us, whether contested or open. Im kind of glad Olynyk made that last 3 pointer, because I need our guys to stay locked in coming out of the half. Utah is not playing THAT much better than us, we just continue to bail them out. But if we buckle down, we can come back and blow the doors off this one. It’s right there
  4. Just bad right now. The refs got us playing soft, afraid to foul. We have to increase the pressure defensively.
  5. We dodged a major bullet to close that quarter. For all the Trae hate, our defense to close the quarter was much better after all of our defensive studs went out of the game. Jazz left the door open, we need to buckle back down and play our game now.
  6. Foul trouble screwed us. Got to get to the 2nd quarter fast. Meanwhile, Nate is crapping the bed keeping JHol over AJ in the rotation. Anyone with eyes can see what this kid offers and we want to roll with a 33 y/o journeyman as our go to wing off the bench? Stupidity
  7. Vucevic is only 6-10, just like Clint. We are also giving OO a lot more minutes this year which cuts in to Clint’s floor time. Vucevic is playing 32 mins a game, Clint just under 27 mins, factoring that in to their raw numbers they both are rebounding at 13.8 rebs per36 mins. The gap just is not there this season other than us phasing OO in to a bigger role which hurts Clints overall production.
  8. We are on pace for my outlined path, but I will say, I did not think the Jazz would maintain their level of play. I’m going to add them to the category with NOP, BOS, and CLE, and say that we need to win 2 of those games now. We already picked up one against the Pels, so we need 1 more out of the 3 against the others.
  9. Lauren Jbara said “1st win” like 4 times in that interview. Babygirl, it’s “loss”. First “LOSS”.
  10. Like chicken, a little dry though.
  11. OO = 21 years old JJ = 20 years old AJ = 19 years old The future is BRIGHT!!! (edit) The future is NOW!!!
  12. J SWISHHHH I’m eating crow right now
  13. The young guns are HOOPING tonight. Jalen with the hands the games in a row.
  14. I thought OO was undersized? He sure is playing big tonight.
  15. Jalen has a deep bag in his repertoire, he just lacks the confidence to go to it consistently. He also isn't good enough at any one skill yet for us to tell him to just focus on that (Like shooting for AJ or defense for OO). He definitely doesn't even have the same feel in the PNR as our other bigs. We would be smart to get him a couple of plays that allows him to get the ball on the low block and attack. Otherwise, he is strictly a screener and spot up on the wing type of player. There is an opportunity while Bogi is out to run some offense through him with the second unit. OO has his role down pat, and AHol and Murray are good enough to get their own offense going. Unless we decide to give Dre more run with the reserves, there is need for someone to get touches on the blocks. Why not JJ?
  16. All I know is I'll be at the game tonight, so we better win lol
  17. Playing Bogi on load management or a minutes restriction is one thing. Him being available to play at all is another. Nate doesn’t have a say-so in his rehab process. That’s up to Bogi and the medical staff. Once he is cleared, that’s when Nate can jump in and monitor his usage in games and practices. So, I can only assume that the tweet is saying Nate will bring Bogi along with more caution once he is cleared to play. Not that Nate is holding him back from moving to the next step of his rehab.
  18. I love me some Tyrese Martin. Dude is a baller and plays more like a young vet than a rookie. He will turn 24 during this season, the kid has some basketball miles under his belt and knows how to play this game well on both ends. Just another player I would rather see get minutes over J Holiday lol
  19. These guys gonna learn one day.... everything don't need to be posted on social media. Better to keep your mouth closed than open it up and prove yourself as an idiot. Freedom ain't free my guy. Neither is free speech. This one is gonna cost big time. You still have Kanye I guess lol
  20. The eye is like the one part of the body that noone else should ever touch. I remember getting scratched in the eye playing pickup. It hurt so bad I thought it fell out of socket. I was on the ground just like Trae screaming like a little kid. We ended up canceling the rest of the game. When I finally looked in the mirror it was the tiniest scratch in the corner of my eye socket. Barely even scabbed over. I thought I would lose my whole eye when it first happened. Moral of the story, it’s super sensitive in there, but it’s built to be resilient because of how vital it is. I think Trae will bounce back fine and soon.
  21. So, no OO on the report? That’s a good sign
  22. I really did not know they were in town filming. I would have gone for sure. That’s super cool
  23. They’re a team of underdogs and try-hards with great coaching and player development. They’re the antithesis of our squad. They do all the little things well, and it makes the big things come easier for their guys. Our biggest issue is ball watching on both ends of the floor. Smart savvy teams like Toronto, Miami among others take advantage of this by sneaking behind our guys for loose balls, offensive rebounds, run-outs, back doors, etc… all the dirty work plays that cancel out talent. Trae and Murray have to set the tone against these teams that we will be locked in, protect the ball, make smart decisions.
  24. Y’all got time today I see lol Gotta love back to back off days. Glad it came after a win and not a loss. We could have been sitting here arguing over the Raptors blowout for3 days lol
