I don't know if you were watching the game or not, but the Knicks were getting everything in the paint that they wanted with Smoove out the game. In the first half they were shooting 3's, that's just the chance you take. They were taking 3's and hitting 3's. If Smoove were in the game in the 2nd half the Knicks would have been cold outside, and wouldn't have been able to get as much in the paint. It seriously looked like 4 on 5 at some points in the same, no defensive presense what so ever. Zaza was getting beat and Bibby was slow to match Duhon.....

I hope everyone now notices how important Josh Smith is to this team.

I agree. I see nothing special about Marvin and every time he pulls up to shoot i cringe. Mo plays more physical ball and is a solid defender. Mo is also lethal from the beyond the arc...although, Marvin will continue to start, "just because"....

Well, i'll say it again... Joe is pissing me off. Every time he touches the ball it's ISO Joe and that's not how we are efficient. Ball movement is the key..... The Pistons came out and banged with us and we weren't expecting it.

The Hawks came out of half looking like a different team. There was no ball movement and there was no crashing the boards. That is why we lost. We didn't stick with the gameplan and got out-gunned.

Well, if Joe doesn't step up and be consistent he won't be signed for the amount he wants. BY ANYBODY. Honestly Joe has been annoying me this season, seems every time he gets the ball it immediately turns into ISO Joe.... You saw the result of that against Orlando and even the Sixers, right?

I believe we looked flat last night even before Bibby came out, we just had an all out off night last night. We got tired. It happens. We were on a 7 game winning streak.... and just lost one game. But I do agree they were missing composure and leadership with Bibby out, no doubt about that. That being said, NO was making huge mistakes and we never capitalized. It was an off-night altogether.

The thing about Marvin is that he is streaky. He can have a night like this and then the next night shoot 1-9. Kudos to him last night though, he was impressive. I just wish he could do it (or at least close to) on a nightly basis.

Indeed. As much as I hate to say it, Teague can't be trusted right now, and if you want him getting more minutes you are insane. Woody is doing what he has to do, win games. Not start a rookie PG when we have plenty of experienced depth else where to run the team in the middle of a 7 game winning streak, on top of being the best team statistically in the NBA. Honestly I get scared when Teague is on the floor, i cringe every time he throws up one of those floaters.
