It really sucks we FINALLY get a legit center that is performing well and we may be blowing up our team. Howard is playing really well no attitude issues and he is finally home and we have the look like we are going blow up the team. What a pisser. If we trade Millsap for future picks and no other decent players you know we are in tank mode. I feel bad for Howard if that is the case.

Sucks we go through a losing streak and have a fire sale. Will Howard still be around when we are done refilling on draft picks? We finally have a good center and are about to blow the team up. We won't win anything this year without Millsap

He will never ever learn, he should be no where near the 3 point line on offense as even if he shoots them well it takes him out of rebound range. He is not a point gaurd

Yea I REALLY wish Falcons games could have Jamal Anderson or Steve B as color commentators or something. I hate how our games get guys that hate our team and or know nothing about it

Give me a homer that is in the HOF and was easily the best player the Hawks ever had. listening to the games with Nique is like being home. Nique is the Hawks and if you were growing up in the ATL in the 80's and 90's just having him talk about the past and now and his passion for the team makes it a joy ot listen to. I'm a Hawks fan I'm an ATL sports fan we get beat up all over the country or just get flat out ignored I want a HOMER broadcasting our games that is ridiculously enthusiastic about the team. I don't watch these games to be depressed or bored or angry I want a guy that has a history with the team that is a fan of the team announcing the games.

Bob and Nique are a really good announcing team, just try and listen to other NBA games and you will quickly realize how good we have it.

It wasn't till Nique started announcing that brought me back to watching games again, I was a big Hawks fan in the 80's-90's and some point in the early 2000's but when I turned on SportSouth and watched the game and heard Wilkins I was hooked again even when our teams were not that great. He brings ALOT of credibility for what he has done and meant to this city and in general to me at least he is enjoyable to listen to. He is like a fairly knowledgeable fan of our team that just happens to be the best player the team has ever had and is also a VP in the front office so he is still apart of the team. Nique is pretty much the human embodiment of the Atlanta Hawks and no one else really should be doing the color commentary. I will miss him alot if he ever decides to retire from Hawks Broadcasts.

I don't really care if Nique is technically not a great announcer. I REALLY enjoy the homer aspect of our broadcasts I like Nique's emotion to this franchise and just in general I love the duo of Bob and Nique and how they present our games. I'm an ATL sports fan and sometimes I just want happy homers rooting for us since we never get any national recognition. Whenever the Hawks are playing a national game and we get non local announcers it is horrible and I either fall asleep or get angry.

After reading about this type of injury DH could be out a few days to a week or more. It is not very serious or uncommon but does require treatment with ice and some rest to heal up.

So how long are players out with this type of injury?

He seem to improve any time we gave him playing time. He has alot more upside then the guy we signed in his place.

Ugg Edy was improving and at worst was a good bench option with a ton of upside. Not happy about this, it doesn't make much sense

All things considered I think he played great and our team looked really good even though we had a ton of new parts. We may struggle at times but when this teams Gel's it is going to be something speical.

I think he will be fine with this and it will only get better as our players gel. Last night was probably as good as we could hope for and the team looked really good considering all the new pieces we have. We looked alot different and a lot stronger in the middle.

I LOVE this off season, we fixed our biggest need which has haunted us for years and got a legit center, our rookies look REALLY good and will contribute now, we shed players that cost to much and have peaked and were soft Horford/Teague, we kept players that were solid and played with heart Baze/SAP/Humphries and we did all of this without breaking the bank. I don't think the off season could have turned out any better. We did not have to blow up the team but we changed and corrected fundamental problems we have had as a team for a number of years at least on paper. We are no longer going to be a soft team that lacks rebounding strength and we are no longer going to be pushed around in the middle. AND we have some really young players with huge potential alot of speed and still have a good mix of vets. Some people wanted to blow it all up and rebuild and this off season showed we can certainly tweak the roster to go forward being contenders and add young players for the future. We will compete much better against the Cavs then we have lately.

Al is over hyped often injured until he started playing soft, for our team Kris offers us more. Just cause people wanted to over pay Al doesn't make him a real top NBA player.

That's why I think Kris has more to offer this team, he could actually play center and still has a decent outside shot and has better ball handling skills.

So is this streaming anywhere on the net or on youtube?

I still think Humphries brings more to the table than Al does

Awesome he has a better skill set than Al did, better rebounder, tougher and has a good outside shot. He was a real spark for us at the end of the season. Super happy about this move. Him, Dwight and Millsap will be real tough inside.

I hope we bring back Kris Humphries, he is a good shooter but unlike Al he is physical played with heart and can actually rebound.

He could have at least been a professional leaving here. He waned a center and we gave it to him,He wanted a 5th year and we gave it to him Then he leaves and blames the fans for not showing up while he produces 3 rebounds a game against the Cav's

I just hope we can keep Humphries, people are not giving him any credit, he is a physical big guy with a good long distance shot that came in here late and played well and showed some heart. Can't say the same about Al.
