He's going to be one of the top 4 players in the league along with Lebron, KD, and Dwight for years to come and a absolute steal at 11. Watching these playoff games makes me want to get rid of every NBA ref and start over with a new crop. Or better idea, make the refs accountable for their bad or missed calls with fines and post game press conferences.

If they BOTH were to resign long term deals, then yes I'm all for it. But with neither (more importantly D. Howard) resigned I'm not willing to give up our two time all-star and still developing big man Al Horford, a good still developing PG Jeff Teague, and a very serviceable big man Zaza Pachulia. I personally feel that this is too much to give up to allow Josh and Dwight play here for a year and then devastate the city when they leave afterwards.

Your dislike for Teague is immense sir. No way am I trading two of our better young still developing pieces for a one year rental of D. Howard. We would lose Smoove, Al, Teague, Zaza, and Dwight in the course of a year......5 players for one possible year of glory no thank you sir.

David Stern openly cheats for favorites, gives weak punishments, manipulates schedules and nobody wants his blood. Roger Goodell makes his league fair for everyone (except for defensive linemen), brings down the hammer on unruly players, great schedules every year and his players wind up suing him.Who is better?

It's the same in every arena because people don't go to games to be entertained by the music or the mini games during timeouts and half-time. They attend basketball games to be entertained by the professional basketball players on the court. If we want a good atmosphere it starts with having an entertaining and winning team on the court (check). Next you have to be a prestigious team like the Lakers or have the admiration of the national media like the cHEAT. Meet one or two of these criteria and fans will show up in drones and cheer your team member's names until they lose their voice and the Hawks will be recognized for having one of the best arenas and atmospheres in the league.

I can't even stomach to watch that team unless our Hawks are playing them so I have no clue what you guys are talking about. But I will jump on the hate-wagon as well!

No way in hell does Stern allow that match-up to happen. You got a better chance of him allowing the Hawks to get one of those Lakers trades.

I wish some of our guys would take pay cuts and restructure their contracts like some of our Falcons have done recently. You say you want to win, but you are raping the payroll (it was given to them yes...but my point still stands). If you really want to win, give up 2-4 million and see what happens. Just said that and have no knowledge on if NBA players can restructure their contracts. Could someone more CBA knowledgeable help me out?

Wow...so their fans are scared of what Horford being on the court does for us and their applauding Teague for his play this series (unlike some of our fellow squawkers)
