This is a big game for us. Not only is it on ESPN, but it's a good way to measure us as a playoff team going aginst another playoff team. If we bring the same energy on D like we did in Golden state ,then i see no reason why we can't win. GO HAWKZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hawks receive: Stephen Curry, Andris Biedrins, Ekpe Udoh Warriors receive: Josh Smith, Mike Bibby, Jeff Teague The Warriors have said that anyone can be traded. Let's see the Hawks prove this statement correct. Atlanta would receive a star in Curry, who can run the offense for many years to come, and a solid big man in Biedrins. The Warriors would get an athletic Smith to pair with Monta Ellis, as well as a veteran point guard in Bibby and an up-and-coming guard in Teague.

Trade crawford and a 1st round pick throw in teauge or bibby and get a starting PG.It's time for the hawks to play at the level we all know they can play at,They haven't done it all year. I said it at the start of the year, trade crawford. Send him and a 1st round pick with teauge or bibby and we should get back a starting pg.Let JC2 play more and prove that the jc2 draft pick wasnt a waste.

15, 8 and some good D. As a starter marvins a 6th option. Off the bench, hes the second option.Remember his stats from 07-08 when he was the 4th option, 15 ppg, 6 reb.Thats what he finished with after we traded for Bibby. But before that he was the 3rd option his stats were 17 ppg, 8 reb. Now the next step is to bench bibby. Let Teague start and see what happens. So the line ups will look like this PG-TEAGUE SG-JOHNSON SF-SMITH PF-HORFORDC-COLLINS The bench would be pg- bibby, sg- crawford, sf- williams,pf- powell, c- zaza. This is good if you ask me because we get the speed and better perimeter D we need from that position.[last time i check and have seen that teague is pretty good at stealing the ball] As for the center position, collins is a good low post defender and has the size we need to bang with the big boys. We really dont need alot of scoring from those position, not with the big three we have in the starting lineup.And with bibby and williams coming off the bench, it gives crawford the scoring help he needs.

I feel yea pain, but who can we get that dose what josh" the stat-filler" smith do? And the fact that he's ower best inside defender on a team with no true center, well we have to sick with him.So to the people that wants Smith gone theres your answer.Get a defending,rebounding,shot blocking center then we might see him gone.otherwise, he's staying.So the next time you see smith put up a boneheaded shot, think of this........It dosent matter what it is in life ,EVERYTHING has its positives and its negatives EVERYTHING.

Hello, this is my frist time posting a thread on this board, but i'am not new to the board.i've always followed with my moblie phone, but i was not a memeber so i couldn't post. Until now.Now, i must say i love reading post from die-hard hawks fans. Because there are so few of us, but i think its time we usher in a new era of hawk fans.With that said let me give you my opions on a few burning debates true hawks fan know about. ON THE TRADING DEADLINE.......... I would love for us to get that player or two we need to take that leap in the playoffs. But guess what, thats not going to happen. Its not because the F.O dont want to , its cause there isnt anyone who can come in now and help us. And if there is, they have 1yr left on there contracts, and do you all wanna take a chance like that? nope. they might not resign, then we just gave away ower core players to pick him/them up. Which brings me to my next point. THE TEAM IS FINE, THE COACH IS GOOD........ The hawks just need to stop being lazy and show up game in and game out. They need to be HIGHLY ACTIVE. And thats the problem, sometimes we bring that fire and sometimes we have no heart.And in the NBA you atleast have to bring heart to every game if you wanna win. The other thing is when your a jump shooting team and shoots dont fall, well its like the whole team packs it up.Hey Josh, Marvin TAKE IT TO THE RACK MORE AND YOU'LL SEE HOW MUCH BETTER ITS DOSE FOR THE TEAM.
