TNT really pulled a fast one on Moose. I saw his Twitter post of the real song and it sounds nothing like the one they broadcast. Honestly, Moose is a good rapper. I really think people get Hip-Hop and Rap confused.

RIGHT! The Hawks have suffered from poor front office operations for years. Thus be the reason why we don't have a "Superstar". I can careless about a" Superstar ", cause the last time I checked a " Superstar " doesn't win championships alone. Atlanta's sports mentality is flawed. I can remember the Mike Vick era, and there was times Vick didn't have a winning season, but ATL still loved him due to the fact he was a "Superstar". The New Hollywood is what they call Atlanta now......in more ways than one. Atlanta IS not a blue collar city....money is in Atlanta,so if the team isn't up to par they by pass it. " Loyal" fans won't come until a championship..... Until then ,Fcuk them. I ride for my team win, lose or draw. Besides a "Superstar" coming here doesn't mean a championship. If that was the case OKC, Pelicans and Houston should always "win" cause they have "Superstar's" on the team.

WOW!.....that sounds like what's wrong with the Hawks. I believe that's the major difference between this season and last......The Hawks aren't playing for each other. Even the bench doesn't seem to have the same energy. With all the trade talk going crazy...it can only make matters worse. Teague has played great the last few games, but he's playing like he trying to prove someone wrong. You can clearly see his frustration. Last night during a timeout Darvin Ham was talking to him and Teague didn't even look his way. I've seen that a few times this season but with mostly Bud.....but at least he's playing better. Horford on the other hand just seems lifeless at times.His rebounding average is the lowest of his career. Maybe losing DMC really hurt in more ways then one.

I feel you, but I don't feel trading players now will help anything. I say just wait til the off season to make any moves.

We have something building in Atlanta. Why tear it down? I completely agree that this team has been underperforming based upon last year incredible run, but I still believe that this team CAN make it to the ECF. The question is do they want it bad enough?. I truly believe that this team is suffering from "championship" hangover. That's how well last year went for the home team. I'm all for trade's and improving the team, but like Gray said" for who and for what price"?. IMO the Hawks lost that "killer focus" that made history. Our defense has been poor and we don't have a constant 3pt threat(DMC)to pair up with Korver. Which means we can't spread the floor like last season. So if you wanna beat the Hawks,lockdown the paint....cause a jump shooting team with with rebound problems will always beat them selves. IMO keep the band together, and let's see how far we can go.

That's true. Maybe they thought his game isn't versatile enough to be a PF...or maybe the team is still stuck on the Billy Knight philosophy.... I don't know. What I do know is that if Al would use his quickness and was more aggressive, we wouldn't have this conversation.

It was a bad deal all the way around. Can't blame Bud for the way the team is performing. You can tell he's not pleased with the lack of effort on both ends. Just watching the games from home I can see that. Those timeouts are something else. Most times he's frustration is aimed at Teague.....the way he looks at Teague sometimes is just crazy.

Horford is playing like he's mad that he has to play center another year. Believe it or not , don't be surprised if he walks. The Hawks resigned Millsap which means he's our PF going forward.

Honestly, the whole team except Millsap has played like they won a championship. No sense of urgency and a total lack of focus.

But I also think this team is missing a consistent 3 point threat. Which DMC was.

I think Teague being aggressive is the key factor to this team doing well. Korver going off just helps teams play scramble defense. This team plays at it's best when points in the paint are high and we have at least 25 or more team assist....cause when that happens we get open three point shots,which has a better chance of falling. Korver is a major factor to our team, but this team goes how Teague plays.

On the same day he gets selected to be an all-star, he gets an ankle injury..... Sum's up the Hawks first half of the season.... highs and lows.

Well by the look of things Teague won't be here much longer. He just put his 2.1 mill Buckhead condo for sale. Something is happening and I hope we get someone worth the trade.

I see what your saying,but it's your view. Cavs are under more pressure than the Hawks to win due to Lames. We have a system in place. The Hawks just can't trade for anyone a SEE if they fit midway into the season. How many times have the Spurs made mid season moves? How many times have the Hawks made midseason moves with Bud at the helm?.....none. So I don't think the Hawks are not trying to win a championship, I just think there's not the right players and time to grasp the system in time to be effective to make the trade worth it.

I was thinking the same. Sloppy defense lost the Sacramento game and no Millsap in PHX plus a hell of a shot lost that game. Overall the Hawks still got away with 500 on the road. And with that I'm satisfied, better than a losing record.

I didn't watch the game, but sounds like the Warriors put a beat down on the Spurs. I can't wait to play the Warriors, it should give us how good the Hawks are.

Put it this way....the word superstar has been in the Millsap conversation this season, while disappointment was been in Love's.

True, but let's not act like Baze came in and balled out. If that was the case his improvement this year shouldn't have been a surprise. I just think Holiday can put up the same numbers Baze can if given PT.

If Baze had handles I would give him the 12mil, but he doesn't which makes him limited. Plus I think this is the DMC scenario....meaning this system is a pay day for under utilized players in the association. If Baze do jet, we have Holiday to take his spot. Just like Baze did to DMC.

If Teague and Korver gets healthy, THJ keeps improving this team can do damage in the playoffs. I truly believe Horford is going to show out in the playoffs cause he knows that's where his pay day is. The defense and offense rating are both improving as well.

Korver isn't 100%. This all-star break will help some, but Korver is feeling the effects of the surgery.
