The only reason I can think why he didn't say it publicly is he didn't want teams to play him differently.....which the Sun's did. The sad thing is Teague is shooting 3's at a career high, but teams still don't respect it. His pump fakes are also not effective as they once was.

Teague 's body language is the worst. It looks like he just going through the motions. If Dennis would cut down his turnovers, he'll be the starter. And you would think Horford would be playing hard for a contract. Maybe DMC was the glue of this team when it came to getting them ready to play.

Scott is playing better and so is Splitter. If THJ keeps improving, by the playoffs that's a solid 10 man rotation. What I like about Splitter is his post defense. He's starting to learn how to play with Dennis which is going to go along way.

I thought of this as well. Trillsap was the first Hawk I would put to represent Atlanta. This just shows us much ESPN pays attention to the Hawks.

Korver not hitting his 3's to the level he did last season is what this team truly miss. Besides stretching the defense, his 3's gives a boost to the Hawks confidence. Now, with that said the main problem I see with the Hawks is our defense. I'm I the only one who thinks we hedge too hard on defense?

Right, that was/is my problem with him. He was also called "the next Jordan" which just blew my mind. Honestly, I think Curry is the best player in the NBA now. It's very hard to guard someone how can shoot and take you off the dripple. If I had to play James I'll let him shoot all day. The NBA wanted the next Jordan so bad that they picked Lebron. He's not better than Nique when it comes to over all skill.

Til this day,I still don't see what is so special about James. This dude just bull rush at the rim. ( sometimes you could easily call charging) His shot is inconsistent and his defense never been consistent. Nique is a top 5 small forward, the only thing he doesn't have is a ring.

The only thing I know is Al is worth the max to the Hawks. Remember when Boris Diaw re signed with the Spurs for a crazy amount? Anywhere else that would be nuts, but for the Spurs it's justified due to how well he fit's in their system. Al is such a great player, leader and teammate. He will get the max without question.

The team as a whole looked out of sync. We have about four new hawks that didn't play for us last year. Give it some time to gel.

I think Thabo should start over Baze.

This is a good bench depth signing. The most important thing is that he plays good perimeter defense (which we need) and has the ability to shoot the three ball at a high clip. Bud's system might take his game to another level. Plus we got a guard at a cheaper price then Lou. We as Hawks fans maybe just maybe need to think about the All-stars we do have and think about the time to resign them. Maybe Horford will be our next big signing. Think about it Horf's next contract could look like 5yr 75mil or 5yr 70mil,and we better pay him cause if we don't someone will.Let's not forget about Millsap as well. Besides 3yr 12mil is a good price for what he brings.
