  1. Hinrich has said several times they are better getting stops and running. That does not make him any brighter than everyone else that has been saying run more since this squad became a playoff team. I really have not seen anything that points to the guy being heady, smart, or even a great defender. Bibby got the Hawks into offense as well as one could ask for, set picks when needed, same stuff guys like Stockton were known for. Of course, Bibby was not the assist guy that Stockton was but Bibby has a great basketball IQ and is also a coaches son, even though he did not spend much time with his father growing up, it was just a part of Bibby's make up. Never really heard anyone raving about Bibby's IQ in the Hawks blogosphere. I wish people would stop exaggerating everything to try and make Kirk look like the answer. I am all for us winning though.
  2. Unfortunate to see Al taking the wrong approach to this game
  3. Hard cap is not the way to go, very few things in life are mandatory and a hard cap should not be one. This potential lockout is about the same thing the NFL one is about and that is the owners getting a bigger piece of the pie. The owners are being unrealistic IMO, if you want instant results in a business go be a day trader.
  4. Holding grudges will not help anything especially with Josh being out, that little edge is gone
  5. You guys are in love with certain stats that don't matter if you are losing.
  6. I doubt there is any truth to this but if it is I would rather just sign him without a trade.
  7. Well the Bulls caught one with Josh out and the Thunder might catch one with Josh out again, it happens
  8. He is not that good defensively. Guys can get past him and have been. He will not be getting this praise with those poor stat lines when we lose. His statline for 32 minutes would have gotten Teague sent to the D League
  9. Sounds like Bibby is being bashed just because they wanted to get rid of him
  10. 4 pts and 2 assists in 32 minutes, the guy is worse than Marvin in so many ways for this team. If we had lost that game you would be saying we need more from Hinrich. That win was all about Al.
  11. That's cool, but I am also sure Kirk Hinrich does not have what it takes to lead a team to the Eastern Conference Finals since we are basing things off of the past. My thoughts have a lot more facts to back them up than yours considering Kirk has had that chance many many times
  12. Hinrich didn't shut anyone down. Was he the one blocking the shot at the end, was he the one with a hand in his face with the desperation 3? Nope, when we lose and Hinrich has the same stats as tonight watch you guys start complaining the truth is he was the least effective starter tonight when you look at minutes played.
  13. I was wrong about the blown out part but Hinrich is garbage. Teague is so much better defensively.
  14. This is still a lateral move if it's about getting to the Eastern Conference Finals. At best Kirk Hinrich will be our 4th best starter and battle Marvin for least effective starter. He is taking minutes away from your future PG and we are not going anywhere. His numbers are about the same as Teague's or worse since the trade.
  15. Kirk Hinrich did not do anything. He and Marvin are the two most worthless starters on a playoff team. Good game Al, he deserves all the credit because if we had lost noone would be satisfied with the games of Hinrich, Marvin, or Joe
  16. Al needs 20 shots a game and Teague needs 20 mins a game, Kirk Hinrich will give Marvin a run for least effective starter. All truths :stirthepot:
  17. Hinrich was the least valuable starter tonight. Looks like Marvin will have competition for that honor. Teague only got 1 stint and no more play when he was not the one that put them into the 14-0 hole. Horford is Boss, and would be a 1st ballot HOF'er if he played D like Josh
  18. As long as the franchise makes lateral to backwards moves the fans will stay outnumbered
  19. The talk about Hinrich making the team tougher and better is such a joke. Good or great PG's dont have teams get off to 14-0 starts
  20. Another case of you have to watch the games. Granger can look really subpar against good defenses. On the other hand, you put him as a 3rd wheel which he will be proven to be over the next few years you have a quality Big 3. Teague Joe Granger Smith Horford Even with Al playing the C out of position thats a team that will get to the Finals.
  21. Yes, that's the bright side but I think he will play well and that will be the negative side because he should not have been put back on the bench. This is not Hinrich's team and will never be, but it could well be Teague's team sooner than later. People get tired of seeing signs or flashes the guy needs 20+ minutes with NBA level players not Josh Powell and Zaza and ballhoging Jamal
  22. This smells blowout with Hinrich trying to guard Rose and Smith out
