Joe always get shut down by teams who have athletic small forwards (Iggy) who can guard multiple positions. The keys to this game will be Teagues defense on Jrue Holiday and his ability to break down their defense and Josh ability to stay in the paint and drive the ball on Phili because they have no one who can guard him. If Joe wants to be effective scoring he has to make his moves quick and decisive and shoot off of screens because Iggy will shut him down otherwise. I will be in the building tonight rooting for the guys! Lets Go Hawks!

Im not a huge Al fan but last night was just another game we missed Al. Splitter was killing IVAN simply because he was longer. If we had Al we would've had za za coming off the bench guarding him. Also with Al being present Joe (since joe loves to just make the right pass) would've had that mid range knock down guy. We'll miss Al again against Memphis and Phili. With Al and Kirk on this team I still believe we can beat anybody especially in the East.

I think with the way Joe plays the game he has a few more years in him than you may think.

I read that article from Michael Cunningham on ajc.com and it did not state that Drew will eventually start Kirk with Jeff and Joe. Drew simply said that it will be another lineup that he will explore. Like everything else Drew made no commitment to anything besides that Jeff has earned the starter spot. The main question now is who gets cut? I say Sloan, because of his inexperience and I do believe Stack is making a difference in the locker room and at practice. Also, Cunningham reported "The Hawks aren’t enamored with the available free-agent centers and their trade options are limited. Look for them to make a run at Kenyon Martin when FIBA releases him from his Chinese contract once the Xinjiang Flying Tigers wrap up their season late next month." Hello to all, just want to introduce myself and say that for a long time now I have enjoyed reading you guys thoughts about our Hawks. I've been a die hard hawks fan and fan of all Atlanta/Georgia sports since birth. It only makes since to me to root for the home team, right? Unlike many in this city that I love so much. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and seeing who agrees or disagrees with me and mainly debating about our own Mr. Josh Smith.

Im sure we all saw what you saw, but teague will never get better with out consistent minutes. Young players have to have the confidence that they will not get yanked every time they make a mistake and Drew must allow him to learn from game experience. We don't need another pg to back up Kirk. It's time for teague to step up and show what he got. YES! Bibby was that bad. (on defense)
