    Well

I definitely believe that if we had all our main players like they now do this series would not even be close. I am proud how they fought. I just wish Joe would've did half of what he did down the stretch tonight in Game 2 and we would be up 2-1 or maybe even 3-0.
  2. Yep! I call it "THE CURSE OF GENERAL SHERMAN"!
  3. I will gladly say something to Al about him not returning and how he gets paid way too much to not even attempt to tough it out to help this team and bring this city something to be happy about. I wish I can run in to Joe as well so I can give him a piece of my mind as well. I strategically do not by tickets to certain games because I know the passion I have for this team and I will probably fight one of the many transplants at Phillips rooting for the other team. I also know if I sat close to our bench and say it was Game 2 and I know they can hear me believe me I would have let them all know how I feel. If only the actual players cared as much as I do this franchise would have made it at least to a conference final by now. Al should be happy he does not have to deal with something that will haunt him for life because he sure would not get anything done. This situation is the last of many that Al has shown me his true colors and like you I once believed he was a tough guy and our leader but this happenedhttp-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AXOyypxSA8notice how Al is the first on the scene and he allows his teammate to get swung on by another player and he just stands there looking dumb with his arms out. Josh comes and gets involved in the madness but no not Horf who is suppose to be our known tough guy. Also do none of you guys remember what Amar'e said about him? At the start of the clip you see Al block Amare and get excited, which I have no problem with, but Amar'e did and called him out on it. Amar'e stated afterwards to the media that Al is not that guy he portrays and basically calls him a punk. The next game up in New York and Al disappears. I still had my doubts and believed he wasn't a punk. Then the chicago series last yr happened. I don't know about you guys but I believe we would have won that series if our 2 time allstar and 3rd team all nba guy played up to all his accolades, but he didn't. Instead he publicly admits that Noah is making him timid, even though he was obviously playing that way, but who does that? Al is a solid player, he just isn't who we thought he was. When he does return, which will probably be next season, I do not want to hear any complaints from him about playing center when Josh and Ivan have done it with no complaints. This is not the 80's or 90's Horf! There is only 3 centers he truly have to worry about in the whole league and he does not play them every game. I do not want to see Al come back trying to bang centers bigger than him and trying to use his speed against centers his size. All he has to do is switch that up and he would be a lot more successful in the paint and he won't take the beating he and his daddy often whine about.Anyways, GO HAWKS!
  4. Agreed. LD continue to fail with his substitutions in key situations. We went without a field goal for forever seem like and he made no changes. Vlad could have given a spark and some huge shots. Also, LD keeps Marv in for some reason but leaves Tmac on the bench. Tmac should have been in the game ddown the stretch to help score and set others up. I guarantee he would've found a way to either score himself, get fouled, or set someone else up to score. LD gotta step up his coaching just as much the players need to step up their focus.
  5. There has been multiple signs to me already of Al being a fake tough guy.
  6. First off I live with Chrons thus experience abdominal pain a lot and if I sat out every time I experience a flare I will be out of work frequent and I have played in basketball games before with the pain. I also just tore my left Achilles playing ball on March 24 and I know the progress of returning from a major injury and believe me a Achilles is way worst than a pectoral muscle injury. Im no doctor but I am currently finishing up a degree in Health and Physical Education so I think I know a little about sports injuries and due to my own experiences I do know there are some things and some situations you have to push through.
  7. He would not have been cleared for contact if he don't have full range of motion. Full range of motion comes before contact and weight lifting when returning from any injury. Plus LD has stated that they are just waiting for Al to say he can play. I doubt the head coach would say that if he know the staff has not cleared him to play.Anyway, I hope Josh does play because with out him we have no chance unless Teague goes off for 40.
  8. We Shall Overcome! (old negro spiritual)
  9. This is exactly why I am not happy with Rondo being suspended, it just gives everyone another reason not to believe we are actually better than the celtics.
  10. I doubt Joe goes 0-9 again on 3 attempts. If he makes 2 of those open threes we blow them out.

  12. We're going to need him big time against the C's

    Al and Zaza

Am I missing something? I though for sure that the doctors and our training staff have cleared Al to play. What true competitor will hold himself back after the doctors have cleared him to play not just in the regular season but for the playoffs? Al is not the tough guy we all thought. No way Josh or Joe sits out due to injury after they have been cleared to play.
  14. For this year? I say yes. I just knew for sure he would do it against NY but he didn't get the ball. I believe that if joe can get enough scoring help in the playoffs to keep games close he will close teams out for us. GO HAWKS!!!
  15. I blame LD simply because it was a bad play. Its 3.4 seconds left and you have Joe in bounding the ball? If he did get the pass from Marv its now like under two seconds left and he has to shoot a shot 5 feet behind the 3 point line. It was a bad play point blank period. Marv was hot but I dont blame him any, it is all Drew fault.
  16. All the same things were said in 2008. One thing I know for sure is that we have grown since then. We have gotten stronger, faster and smarter while Boston has gotten smaller, slower, and older. If we had Al I would say we win in 5...
  17. Well I guess we gotta wait until Sunday to really judge if we are mentally ready for the playoffs
  18. Aye I like those jerseys but not for that price. I don't need a game worn one, a replica do just fine.
  19. If I could find a Steve Smith I would buy it on the spot
  20. Second best behind the Pac Man logo jerseys is the Black and Red uni's from 95 with the hawk across the front.
  21. You are right, he did not have my respect in the first place. He lost it when he got punk'd by Amare.
  22. After this article I am now not too confident in Al, to be honest he has lost my respect. Since Amare called him out and punk'd him he's been proving him right. He is constantly complaining about playing in the paint and I am getting tired of it. We have seen Josh who is smaller put on weight to adjust to a role and we have seen him lose weight to adjust once more. Also while Al is out he and 6'8 Ivan are playing his center position at times with no complaints. The thing that kills me the most is the part when Drew is ask when Al can come back he responds "when he says", so Al can be back Friday if he wanted. Dude is not tough at all. If he truly cared and was tough he would be back for our last 2 games and tough it out and get ready for a strong playoff run. Shoot, I know I would wanna make my comeback on ESPN against Boston and then again against NY on nat'l tv.
  23. Atlanta has a lot of good rappers still that just doesn't get radio play like real hip hop artist across the country. Atlanta is home for one of the most lyrical artist ever and best group ever in Andre 3000 and Outkast. Cyhi da Prynce and B.o.B are good hip hop artist from Atlanta that can have commercial song success for the Hawks. B.o.B has been used plenty of times by ESPN and Addidas and have that pop appeal to please all parties. Our PR suck anyway because there is no way this song from a few years back from Cyhi da Prynce should have went unnoticed....
  24. Honestly it makes me happy to see Josh showing emotion and a passion to want the ball unlike our paid "superstar"! It would be better though if Josh had the IQ needed to truly be the leader of this team. Like always if Josh plays hungry then this team can play with and beat anybody and if Josh decides to half step then we lose by 20 to anybody. Whether you like it or not captains are usually your more productive players and Josh can produce in every category more than anyone else on this team.About Jeff, the problems he has is the same problems that face every PG that comes in the league since 2005. Its all about running fast and jumping high with todays points. I like Jeff a lot though he has the potential, I just hope he can develop and not be satisfied with where he is now.
