  1. I know Horfy's the "Golden Child" on this board but enough is enough!! The kid doesn't control the paint at all, even against mediocre teams. Allstars make their presence known every game. Maybe Smoove was the one that really deserved to represent the Eastern Allstar.. IMO
  2. That's what you get after you reach on a trade. I've even tried to keep an open mind about the guy but he still disappoints. Just an average journey man if you ask me. Smh. I miss that young guy in Washington.
  3. I definately see a need for our 1st Rd pick. If you don't, then there's something wrong with your basketball IQ. We have a bench made up of Etan Smith, Collins, Powell, and Armstrong. I can give you 10 draft prospects with more upside than three of the current roster players just named. Why not take a chance on a top 20 pick when half of the bench is garbage and ASG won't spend a dime on free agents. Correction, they would pay a dime for a player because they're cheap.
  4. My thread was the first one and it got deleted. That's a load of crap! Oh well.. lol
  5. Well, he went 35% shooting from the floor last week because he has cob webs on his wrists. I can care less about a rookie getting 33pts dropped on him from a "superstar." But, to drop 39pts on that superstars means that the kid is a competitor and he has heart. And by the way, he's been starting the past couple games.
  6. Well, a lot of people including me hated the trade of Jordan Crawford to Washington. And this is the reason why!!! He dropped 39pts on Miami's DWAYDE TONIGHT!! HE WENT 12-24 FG 5-8 3PT AND 10-10 FT.. THE KID MIGHT HAVE THE MAKINGS OF A SUPERSTAR. What do you guys think?
  7. Joe Johnson did nothing.. Al Horford did nothing.. << Didn't see the free throw line all game. Against the 76ers!! Interested to see what the Horfy lovers say.. Hinrich surprisingly showed up.. Marvin turned himself in for armed robbery.. JOSH SMITH WENT 60% FROM THE FIELD IN A LOSING EFFORT! 30PTS 12REB!! YEAH, THAT'S HOW YOU RESPOND AFTER A TERRIBLE NIGHT. SHOULD'VE BEEN AN ALLSTAR THIS YEAR. GOTTA CHANGE THAT ATTITUDE THO. Jamal Crawford looks like he wants to take his talents to South Beach/New York.. Teague was Tweeting as usual.. Live from the bench.. Larry Drew had a familiar face tonight. Saw a lot of the Mike Woodson surprised look. BLANK STARE!! LOL
  8. We share the same sentiments when it comes to Kirk Hinrichs sorry a** game. Don't know why others don't see through this terrible trade. Hope Sund gets the boot because he reminds me of a 12yr old playing NBA2k11. How do you have a mediocre team and decide to trade your previous years 1st rd pick and this years possible 17th/18th pick for mediocre players. Gotta give it to the guy, Hinrich has a damn good agent. Lol
  9. Pure genius brother.. pure genuis..
  10. Hinrich's getting torched and Larry Drew has Teague shackled to the bench. $8 million dollars my @ss!! This guy is doubling Boozer for some apparent reason and leaving Josh and Horford at the mercy of Derrick Rose. Not smart basketball if you ask me. No one should drop 20pts in a half no matter the circumstances. Trade Larry Drew in for a Six Flags season pass!!
  11. LOL@ Al Horford with that blank statement. Allstars are leaders and are the first to put the blame on themselves. But, after all the years I've been hearing Al's post game comments he has never accepted the blame. He should be saying " I'm a leader on this team and it starts with me. I have to be more assertive on offense to help set the tone for my team." He definately needs a reality check because I haven't seen him "play" since that faithful night against Chicago.
  12. Funny that you say that when these "stat nerds" you talk about are called NBA Scouts in reality. I'm not a "stat nerd" at all my man, but I "am" an ex basketball player/student with ehough experience to call bs when I see it. If he was so good, the guy would be a Laker. Lol
  13. If I was a millionaire I would overnight ship you a Mazarati. Lol. That was well put my man. I'm still arguing about that trade with my friends. Didn't make sense given how much help we need in the longterm. Hinrich is and forever will be an NBA Journeyman.
  14. Kirk Hinrich 9.8ppg 2reb 2.3ast as a Hawk. Jordan Crawford 9.2ppg 1.8reb 2ast as a Wizard. * There's not much of a difference in the numbers between the rookie and the (8th year) veteran. I've noticed that Hinrich has struggled to stay on the floor due to early foul trouble. This gets to me a lot! We're talking about an $8million/year player who was brought here because of his "heady" play. I'm going to be nice and not talk about the countless turnovers he's had since coming to Atlanta. The trade leaves a sour taste in my mouth because we gave away a quality rookie and a 1st rd pick for a 3rd generation Luke Ridnour. Where's Dan Dickau when you need him (lol)??? Let's find Travis Hansen and sign him to a 10 day contract! Lmao! J/k
  15. Have a positive outlook please. We rag him when he's doing terrible but we don't show any love when he's doing good. Hell! He can possibly go for 60pts tonight and I'm sure he will do it.
  16. I'm really liking this kids scoring ability, defense, and athleticism at 7"0ft 224lbs.Yeah, he's a little thin but I'm sure another 25lbs of solid muscle will do the trick. If we part ways with Jamal and Marvin, I wouldn't mind Rick Sund making a push to get an early 1st rd pick through trade to make this happen. I wouldn't mind dangling a future 1st rd pick and Marvin Williams to make it seem approachable. Its a long stretch but this guy is going to be a star in this league for many years to come.. Let me know what you all think.
  17. It seems like "Horfy" gets a free pass whenever I get on this board. I with you on this one. Horfy always disappears when it counts. Plays good against mediocre players but tucks his testes when against allstars.
  18. Exactly! We don't have any winners at the top of the heirarchy. Hell, they're all dumb business men if you ask me! How do you not spend a couple more dollars to put together a championship contender..? Its all about strengthening the Hawks as a brand.
  19. Is it just me or does it seem like Rick Sund is taking the Hawks down the same path that he took the Seattle Supersonics..? The man has single handedly destroyed a team that needed only one key position filled--- center. And then traded our 1st rd pick (Jordan Crawford) and our 2011 1st rd pick for a journeyman and a combo guard. With the excuse of, "this years draft will be weak." Haha! With the current "weakness" of our bench I don't see why the draft wouldn't help. Zaza Pachulia should no longer be an active player in the NBA and Marvin Williams pulled off the greatest heist to date. Joe Johnson drove the getaway van. I'm done talking what do you guys think???
  20. Al Horford once again disappears in the second half. Hinrich has brought the losing lifestyle that he had in Washington to the Hawks. I wish we could get our refund back from that trade. Floor general my a$$, he dribbles the ball in the corner and turnover city happens. Larry Drew still doesn't get the point when it comes to playing your bench (Powell/Armstrong). What a lateral move from Rick Sund. How can a draft be weak when your bench is trash..?
  21. Good point! It seems as though his cocky-ness backfires everytime. I'm not a fan of the showboating and dunk flexing. He needs to focus more on being effective in his style of play. I've never seen anyone disappear like he did tonight. Never even thought about competing. Lol. That just seemed to easy and plus he's in majority of the topics already. But good assessment!
  22. There was no logic held in that so-called "told you so" statement. You would be better off putting that money in a mutual fund.. lol j/k man
