  1. Al has officially disappeared late in the game. Someone find him please. Oh yeah, Zaza just lost his minutes after this game.
  2. This topic is a joke! Get real with yourself!
  3. You two are funny.. When the kid has a bad game, you guys turn into Knicks fans and wave the "Bench Teague" flag. But, as soon as he comes up with a spectacular night y'all are back like tree huggers to a redwood. Geez! Give the kid a chance to learn from his mistakes! By the way, he had great defense against Rose the entire night. Rose warmed up when our bench got into the game.
  4. At what point was that three open? I remember him leaning into the shot with two players in his face. Open shots are taken differently, especially without leaning.
  5. Stop watching Atlanta sports then!! *Annoying*
  6. No excuses for missing free throws but what in the hell was that play call!!!
  7. I don't agree.. You have to realize the type of shooters Rondo has had around him. I'm pretty sure Teague could drop 10 assist' if he had the shooters around him that Rondo does(had). The kid is a beast because he can drive to the basket at will. I'm pretty sure Rose will have fits tonight trying to check him.
  8. Marvin Williams is performing waay better than Tayshaun Prince according to this seasons numbers. I think Tayshaun's peak has long been reached and he's on the decline. Marvins Stats: 2011-12 Statistics PPG 11.8 RPG 6.0 APG 1.6 SPG 1.0 BPG 0.4 FG% 0.462 FT% 0.810 3P% 0.462 MPG 24.0 Tayshaun's Stats: 2011-12 Statistics PPG 10.4 RPG 3.4 APG 1.4 SPG 0.2 BPG 0.2 FG% 0.420 FT% 1.000 3P% 0.429 MPG 32.6 I don't want him !!!!!
  9. lmao!!! Hahahaha!! To the other guys, don't take this thread seriously. It was meant to be a joke produced from my frustration with Al's interviews. lol Happy New Year Squawkers!!!!
  10. I'm seriously irritated with Al Horford's brick answers to interview questions. Lol. He has to have more information than that. Does his brain only focuses on the energy concept? Wife: I was thinking about changing the wallpaper for our the bathroom. Do you have any ideas?? Al: We need to come out with energy. Wife: Huh? Al: (Takes out mouthpiece) ... We need to come out with energy... (Flexes right bicep) Wife: I love you Horfy!!!!! Al: (Smiling into the camera)... Hi, Smoove! LMAO!!!
  11. Teague is a very gifted point guard with speed and scorers mentality. Don't complain about his passing just yet. His ability to drive to the basket alone will provide open spot up shots on the outside. Basketball is all about breaking down your opponents defense by attacking the middle, be it with your post players or guards. We can't turn him into a conventional point guard because he's not. He will average a steady 5 to 6 assist a game and I'm totally fine with it. I personally love attacking point guards myself. It helps put the opposing teams bigs in foul trouble, which opens our post offense.
  12. That trade would cripple us for years to come. All those major pieces for Howard? Gtfoh!! Yall must be drunk still!! Stop believing hearsay. Smh does anyone have basketball knowledge..?
  13. You're wrong on that point. The Lakers have been developing talent for years. Even the Mavericks, Spurs, and the Pistons. Just look at the younger talent they've produced over the years. At the end of the day, it all boils down to scouting and patience during development. That's pretty much what the Hawks as an organization has been lacking.
  14. He's pretty good, a lot better than you're giving him credit for my man. I would take him over all of the bums on our bench. Please take the whiskey out of your egg nog. I wonder if we could make a play for Wilson Chandler instead. That would be a very nice pickup before the playoffs. *ninja vanish*
  15. Sturt, that's the same exact thing I was saying. If we need that bad as a leader, then why not make him a coach. I would rather kept one of the young guys than sign a veteran that can't contribute physically.
  16. If we kept Stackhouse just to be a locker room leader, then why not save the roster spot and make him a coach..?? That's what baffled me on this decision. We should've kept Bibby if we wanted a locker room leader.
  17. So we kept Jerry Stackhouse instead of keeping Pape Sy..?? Lol. I have no idea what Sund's doing right now. Just shows you that his debacle in Seattle is contributed by his lack of common sense. This is very alarming. Smh. From trading "he who's name shall not be mentioned" and our first round pick, to doing this bone head move.
  18. The kid can play ball and that's all you need. Smooth jumper with sf quickness when handling the ball. Can finish at the bucket, even over bigger forwards. He brings a complimentary toughness to ZaZa while on the floor. Don't see why you don't like him..? Reggie Evans is the same exact player with less of a shot. Don't know why he keeps coming up in discussions. Reggie is a glorified trash player. Ivan will be a nice pick up. ONA: Horford looked really suspect last night.
  19. Teague will be fine.. There's nothing a little tape and tightened shoes laces can't fix. I sprained my ankle a lot when I played basketball. The difference is that I kept playing. *shrugs
  20. According to Hollinger, Herman Cain should become the Hawks next GM. His 999 plan would work wonders for our current cap situation.
  21. That kid looks like Manu Ginobili with a Jamal Crawford attacking attitude!! Sund needs to take a look at this guy before he gets scouted by Miami or Chicago!! He can hoop!
  22. I'm going out on a limb on this one!!!! 17pts 6.2 ast 4 rebs 1.2 stls .8 blks Let's make it happen Teague!!
