  1. I think he realized where he was really needed a couple months too late. Sometimes you're treated like an hot item, and that's what Portland did.
  2. Man I'm not being a bigot at all just using that as a metaphor. I apologize if I offended you man. I'm not that type of person at all. Yeah, do you know how many games Tmac has missed? Obviously you're rambling and defending a player that sucks and has no trade value. No one wants him. If they were both free agents, I bet Tmac would be the first one with offers. It's the truth.
  3. Marvins trash! That's the plain truth and LD refuses to bench his *ss for some odd reason. It takes away from the first teams chemistry, and now teammates are starting to notice and speak about it. Willie Green has outplayed Marvin for the past ten games but Drew never makes a change. So what do we do Macecase, keep losing because we believe one day Marvin will get it? I'm tired of watching him shoot airballs and get blocked driving to the hole at 6'9.
  4. Did you guys see Crawford looking upset on the Portland bench? He later changed his Twitter picture to one of his old Hawks press conference pics. He then tweeted this: " I was warned, didn't listen to the advice from lil bro..." Sounds like he realized that he was actually needed and wanted in Atlanta. Nique and Bob Rathbun noticed Jamal wasn't shooting or playing aggressively while on the floor. And he looked noticeably upset while on the bench. He was just staring at our team on the court. It was kinda said I thought.
  5. Tmac has a good reason to be pissed! Drew has some type of love attraction with Marvin. He refuses to demote or bench him when he's obviously not contributing to the team as though he should. I bet other players are feeling the same way but are too scared to say anything. Larry seems as though he doesn't have a clue. Ivan gets pulled, Willie gets pulled when he's hot, Teague gets pulled for stupid reasons(Phoenix), Radmanovich gets pulled when he's hot, and Pargo got buried on the bench once the "great white hope" came back from injury. I'm tired of seeing Drews bullsh*t too.
  6. Whoa..... what's your problem with Teague? And when was our offense the same as the Knicks? Are you serious? Teagues basically a rookie this year and he's playing pretty good. He's not a pick'n roll point guard because Drews offensive scheme isn't primarily built for that. Give it up, we're a fast tempo team that dominates in transition. Guess you didn't see Teague give Nash 9pts in the first 3.5 minutes last game. Please get off your Kirk Hinrich soap box, he's trash in a Hawks uniform.
  7. Teague started declining soon as Kirk returned. Drews teetering with his confidence again. Why won't he unleash him like D'Antoni did Lin? Seems like Drews coaching to keep his job and not coaching to win a championship.
  8. If I can remember correctly, we were out of timeouts and stuck under our basket. It was definitely a good decision on his part because "nobody" was open. Everyone has this thing against Josh that he can't make a smart decision, but proof showed that he made the best decision at the time. Nique and Rathbun agreed with Josh. A hall of fame player and I guy thats been following pro basketball for years.
  9. And Diesel you have to remember that our point guards have played more games than Lin so their numbers are effected greatly. Statistics can be skewd and blinding sometimes. Give this another revision in a couple more months and base it off the entire season. But good post!
  10. LOL! Wtf?! Seriously I have no comment after that statement. But I'm glad Jordy noticed what went on during the game. Some people are blind to the facts even when they're wrong.
  11. So its Teague fault that everyone else can't guard their man?? And 15pts?? Again, what game were you watching?? He had 11pts while Teague was guarding him during the game. Didn't he finish with 22pts and 16asts and isnt his name Steve Nash???
  12. Nash barely did anything the first half when Teague was on him. He got a bs foul at the 3pt line. Teague forced Steve Nash into 3 turnovers in the first half so how did Kirk have a better impact defensively? Plus Teague scored 9pts on nash within the first 4 minutes of the game. Were you watching the same game?
  13. That's the type of crap I'm talking about!! Drew has no faith at all in his players. Sounds like he was going to give up early and wave the white flag. We don't need a coach like that for our team!
  14. I watched the game and we came back because Josh Smith and Willie Green went insane on offense. It also helped that Zaza was benched because he was getting abused on pick-n-rolls. JJ also contributed by locking down Grant Hill whom was killing us all first half and mid-way through the 3rd quarter. Kirk did nothing important tonight.
  15. Good win tonight but Drew sat Teague halfway through the 3rd quarter and the entire 4th. Teague finished with 16pts (7-12) and 2-3 from three point land. He had 5ast, 2stls, 1TO, and Drew decided to make him the scapegoat. Kirk played the entire half basically. Kirk had 5pts (2-8), 3asts, and 1stl for the entire game. I don't get Drews logic at all. Good win tonight..
  16. I totally agree with hawkrule on this one. Its all about who knocks them down.
  17. why and when was he selected? Rather see Teague or Radmanovich instead...
  18. Now thats a guy that follows basketball..
  19. I think Teague's playing more off fear again and thats not good. When he's comfortable, Teague expands the basket almost 4ft with those incredible floaters in the lane. I contribute a lot of his discomfort to Drews inability to chastise the captains on our team. He has to make it clear to Teague that its his show and that our offense works through him. Since Teagues emergence, its hurting us when we keep working through Joe instead of working through the offense as a whole. We have a point guard now and Drew needs to remove iso-Joe plays from the majority of the game. Its like we're playing crippled when we don't need to. I think Stackhouse can provide 'heady' veteran defense and a consistent shooting threat from the corner. He's old, but he can still shoot fellas. And I totally agree with you about Pargo. I thought I was the only one on the squawk thats noticed Drews relentness to play him. He speeds up our tempo tremendously and puts us in the attacking mode.
  20. It looked like a pretty good pass to me when you consider the circumstances. A 6'7 Matt Barnes would've plastered that layup attempt all across the back board. He didn't have much of angle to break his stride and turn to pass the ball. And it would've been even more embarrassing if he passed it off the backboard. Did you see the distance between Teague and his trail man??? It was just a good defensive play on Matt Barnes part. Look at the video again.. Even Nique said it..
