Way too early to put the bulls at the top of the east, IMO. They've lost 2 key players from the last time they were any good. I think anything below a 4 seed will be disappointing for us this year. I predict 2nd or 3rd.

Losing josh was addition by subtraction. That guy is a cancer to the game of basketball. Cap space/roster space got us Millsap, a much much better player. You use the word "maybe" so many times. Maybe you don't know every phone call ferry had made and maybe you know less than you think about a guy who is notorious for keeping quiet about his moves. It almost feels like you are most upset about the way in which ferry conducts deals, rather than the outcome. We got rid of several contracts that were considered untradeable, and picked up good players on good deals. I get that you are upset with the lack of a big name splash, but why not let the season play out a bit with our great new coach, 2 all stars in the front court, growing explosive pg who has proved himself in the playoffs, best shooter in the league, and now tons of depth off the bench. This rush to declare everything a miserable failure before anything had started is so bizarre.

When was the most recent time? Bud has clearly stated that pf and c are basically interchangeable in this offense. Maybe that's why Al hasn't mentioned wanting to play PF for a while. And I don't see any reason Al/Millsap can't be one of the most formidable front courts in the NBA. What teams with legit old school style centers are we afraid of??

Short term: we need to get at least a 3rd seed and make the ECF. That means a strong regular season followed by a strong showing in the playoffs. I think that changes the perception. Can't have a 40 win season and a first round exit.

So now you need 3 superstars to win? Because they had Chandler Parsons, one of the most sought after free agent wings this year and did absolutely nothing at all. Who are they getting that is so much better than Parsons that takes them from a first round exit to a champion? I just don't see it.

Houston is winning nothing with d12 and harden as their 2 best players. Too many flaws in those stars.
