  1. Just to clarify.. It's not OK to hit a woman who is stabbing you with a knife?

    He definitely would not be
  3. Off topic: ive never hit a woman and probably never will. I have seen women who deserve it though. Didn't Brandon Marshall's wife stab him? You know what? maybe she didn't deserve the gentleman's treatment. However, nobody deserves to be killed by a drunk driver. Also, it is a ridiculous comparison to make because every case is going to have different circumstances. On topic: i'm torn on lance. He could be the wing we need, but he could also be a disaster. Then again, if he were a total locker room cancer, why would they still offer him $44m for 5 years?

I'm OK with him as 6th man/ roleplayer and nothing more. If he doesn't buy in, don't play him.
  5. Doesn't adding josh make any team less watchable?
  6. Lebron makes way more off the court anyways. Last year $16m from basketball, $33m from endorsements. Seems like it makes more financial sense for him to play well on a championship level team. http://www.forbes.com/pictures/mli45gmml/2-lebron-james/
  7. Oh I'm glad this silly thread is back. It's not like all of the top teams in the league with cap space would be interested in Deng or anything.
  8. That is some bizarre logic.
  9. Yeah I don't see him moving to the West and knowing he has to go through the spurs and thunder every year just to have a chance to play in the finals. He's not that kind of competitor. I see him as the kind of guy who plays NBA2K on easy mode, All-Star team against the Bucks.
  10. I'm not happy with anything that doesn't include adding atleast one 2nd tier guy.
  11. Baseball and basketball don't work the same though. In basketball, it is going to be really hard to build a serious contender if you are giving him the max. Baseball, you can just throw money at whoever you want, basically. I don't know the cap rules in baseball well, but I know you can definitely throw around huge contracts without it severely handicapping your team. In basketball, it does. It is selfish. Nothing is wrong with going for the money though as long as you know that it will hold your team back.
  12. Totally agree. I hope he gets the max as long as we aren't giving it to him. I also think we should give up on him/melo and start going after Parsons, Monroe, etc..
  13. I agree with a lot of people here in that I think Deng will be successful here if we get him. I don't think he'll shoot many threes if he isn't shooting well. He's a 2 way player and can get to the basket. His numbers before the trade were really good last year and would have been his best year if he kept those up in Chicago. I think 19ppg on 45% shooting, around 7 rebounds and just under 4 assists. He still isn't my #1 choice, but I won't be terribly disappointed if he is who we end up with.
  14. Save it for craigslist.
  15. I don't hate a move for Deng. Not ideal, but it makes us a better team. We looked good in the playoffs.. Add a legit 2 way wing player, a healthy Al, and one other piece (which has to be part of the plan), and we atleast have a roster capable of the ECF IMO.
  16. Interesting move! I'll reserve judgement until I see what it leads to. Sad to see Bebe go, but excited to see what comes of this.
  17. That's great. How good is he at basketball though?
  18. I really wanted a mcbuckets jersey. Sad face.
  19. Personally, I'm glad nobody is bulging. Could get awkward very quickly.
