  1. I'm excited about the team. I'm excited to watch Teague grow as a player. I'm excited to see what Josh and Al can do as the leaders of this team. I'm excited that D Ferry has put together a solid team while the process, or his plan, unfolds. This is a fun team to watch. The guys can shoot lights out. Look at the emotion on this team, it's much greater than last season. I was tired of JJ and Marvin. THAT's what make me not want to watch the Hawks. JJ wasn't fun. Marvin just wasn't good enough. Surely no one thinks we were fun with those 2. I'm excited and look forward to the rest of the season.
  2. This team plays with a lot of emotion, which can be good or bad, depending on the circumstances. Once the shots started falling late in the game you could tell this team was riding that emotional roller coaster. I love the fire this years team plays with. The hustle was there. The crowd was in it. The Hawks didn't let up when it mattered most. This is not a lottery team. This is a team that can compete with any team in the league. However, I must caution, this is a team that needs to continuie to play within their roles. I'm excited about this years Hawks. The past 2 games have been coached very differently from the first game. I'm still scratching my head about the coaching in that one. It's gonna be a fun year.
  3. There was an argument before that one as well.
  4. It sems like every time the camera went to the 2 of them they were arguing about something. The pregame show talked about the Hawks players being close and doing things together off the court. But on the court it looked like there wasn't a lot of love.I hope it's just me being overly cautious but I don't know.I'm glad Joe is gone because I felt like he wasn't part of the TEAM. I wanted this team to be a TEAM. Did anyone else get a feeling of frustration between Josh and Lou?
  5. You are not the only one thinking that. Joe went to the line twice all year. Or was it once?
  6. I wouldn't put Joe on the rafters unless he was cleaning the cobwebs.
  7. Effort? 1 FT, 1 rebound, and 2 assists in a deciding game in the playoffs. They didn't double him on rebounds. Our center got twice as many assists as Joe.
  8. How can anyone love a team and not be frustrated when things aren't going well?
  9. Yeah we can't blame Joe. If Josh didn't have that technical Joe would have ended up with more FT's, rebounds and assists. What was I thinking?
  10. In an elimination game, or in any game, this is not acceptable from someone that gets paid as well as Joe Johnson.
  11. No you are not the only one wondering where Ivan is. Al, Josh, and Ivan would be more energy than Boston could handle.
  12. So Drew and Al both say that Joe needs to be aggressive. I haven't been on this board long but I have been saying that all year.
  13. I said in a previous post that they both should be getting to the line more. My point being this team avoids contact.
  14. And making 3 FT's a game is amazing. We are simply asking too much out of Joe.
  15. They both should be getting to the line more. Why not get the other team in foul trouble? Where is the agressiveness? If you think 5 FT's a game is good enough for us, then so be it, nothing to debate. And to be fair to other Hawks, some of Joes have been technicals.
  16. Joe is averaging 3.8 FT's made per playoff game. gtfo
