  1. Yep. And I actually liked Barnes's shot more, Porter brings the ball down when he shoots. Porter does have a little more nasty in his game which I like
  2. But not at #3, lol I've got at least 6 or 7 players ahead of him
  3. He hasn't shown the ability to pass or handle. Reminds me of Harrison Barnas. IF his shot is legit then I could get behind drafting him, but even that I question
  4. Don't think it'll quite be that quick, but I don't see a reason to dump a 24 year old starting caliber guard for nothing
  5. Agree with most of this. I also think we could hop up to the #15 pick by taking on Gortat for the #30 or Smith or Meeks for the #19.
  6. Hope everything goes smoothly, KB
  7. Antoine Walker was ahead of his time, too. Doesn't mean they were good.
  8. 2nd may be an overpay, these are just the frameworks. If we really like someone at 9, I'm just trying to give an idea of options and what it would take to move up. Maybe Baze/#16 alone gets it done
  9. What is also difficult is I think we'd be looking to acquire a point guard in said deals, in which case they might just draft who we're looking at. But if we take back players like Noah/Knight/Dellevadova I think we could move from 19 to the late lottery
  10. The only other factor is money though, and there are A LOT of teams in dire straits money wise this off-season. Like half the league is staring at the tax.
  11. Absolute best case scenario is like a 3/4 version of Klay IMO.
  12. If Porter is healthy and his shot is for real he's a good prospect, but I don't believe in his ballhandling or his passing ability. Similar to a Prince level prospect for me,
  13. Posted something like this in the draft thread. I'd take on some bad salary in Dennis/Baze trades to hop up some spots to land one of Sexton/Young. Something like... Dennis for Knight/#16 Baze/#16/#30 for Noah/#9. Could also see that Hornets pick being available if we take on some money. Baze/pick for Batum/#11, something along those lines.
  14. Bagley and Doncic are still my guys, I've warmed to Bamba/Young (and that Tech kid outside the lottery), soured on the Bridges brothers, Walker and Sexton
  15. ... how embarrassing. Really?
  16. The pick matters less than the player to me. If someone like Young or Bamba slips a little bit I'd like to move up and grab him.
  17. Sure. Realized I came on a little nitpicky lol
  18. I don't see it. Manu was an athletic, creative guard and Doncic is more of a forward. I think Doncic can be a better Gallo, which is a helluva player
  19. Eh. I don't see an issue loading up on positives as long as they can both shoot and play off ball. It's loading up on weaknesses that's the issue (and there are some concerns there)
  20. Doncic will be good I think. Maybe not a superstar, but his shot looks good and he shoots off the dribble pretty well. He's not super explosive but he's strong with a handle. Maybe not a #1 guy but a solid #2. Plus he's a ballhandling wing, which is the rarest thing in bball.
  21. Concerning, but I think he'll get it up to 75%. He'll also draw a lot of fouls to begin with which is positive
  22. Im no expert though, lol. Bagley I believe will also have multiple elite skills (rebounding, verticality, off ball finishing) while being a better shooter (solid stroke and feet)
  23. Both. He's also pretty stiff and doesn't play with force and has a low center of gravity. I think he'll be a starter but he's the Stanley Johnson/Wiggins of this draft IMO, where he looks the part but doesn't defend and doesn't have an elite skill to make up for it. Bagley isn't great on D now either, bit he's much lighter on his feet so I think it's fixable
  24. I will pull for JJJ if we draft him, but I've got him tied for 6th on my board with Ayton. So I won't be super happy. I like his defense. Don't like too much about his offense or build.
  25. Bamba has given me pause before the workouts even. If we draft him I won't be upset, though I've got him behind Doncic and Bagley. I do prefer Bamba to Ayton.
